White Chocolate Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
These were great! I made these w/o the nuts and went a little less then 2 cups on the white chocolate chips. Great flavor and texture. A recipe that I will come back to again!

Macaroni Egg Salad

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
This was a really nice basic guideline, it was the first time I have actually made one and it turned out really good. The first day, it was alright but after it sitting in the fridge overnight so much better and so good! The only changes I made was I tripled the recipe and did not have the vinegar. Very good recipe that I will continue to go back to!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
Really easy recipes! The meat was a little hard to get out of the slow cooker as it was just falling apart, which is not a complaint at all. The only thing I did differently was I only used one pound as that is what I had on hand instead of the three. Turned out really nice.

Chicken Bouillon Rice

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
This recipe is good for what it is. Very simple and not a lot to it. I love it as a rice to go underneath more defined food, I make it a lot with the Baked teriyaki chicken from this site and it goes together very well.

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
I made a few changes to the recipe. First I didn't have any baking soda so that wasn't added I also only used 1 tsp of cinnamon in the dough and used the other 1/2 tsp for the sugar mixture also did not have the maple sugar so I used a combination of sugar brown sugar and cinnamon to roll the dough in. It came out tasting like oatmeal to me but at the same time tasted really good!

Cinnamon-Raisin Granola

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This granola was very simple to make and used common ingredients. I am not a fan of this alone but as cereal its so good! I have a craving for it a few times a day. Am going to make another batch tomorrow, also thinking of tweaking the recipe a little and instead of adding cinnamon adding more vanilla and mixing in dried blueberries and almonds instead of the raisins. Great recipe that I will use time and time again!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
This recipe is okay I can eat my way through it, but definitely lacks in the flavor. Think I figured out the secret ingredient to add next time, taco seasoning! I think it would add a lot for the flavor. Aside from that, made recipe as is except I browned the onion and chicken in a pan then added the soup and salsa mixture, then mixed in the rice.

D's Famous Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
This salsa was great! Very simple to make. I cut the recipe in half which I wish I had not done as it was so good! I left out the cilantro which is the only thing I will do differently next time and left out the chiles as I am one who likes all my food very mild. Will definitely try this one again most likely with home canned tomatoes though.

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
I was expecting something much better, neither my husband or I were real impressed. It didn't seem to have enough cheese and was a little bland. Otherwise by adding more flavor and cheese its a great recipe and really easy to make.

Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Great recipe I always come back to this one. It is very simple to prepare and taste great. The only downfall I have found is with to little of chicken the sauce is overpowering. Otherwise awesome recipe!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2007
This chicken was so easy to prepare! My boyfriend loved it. It is definetly a recipe that I will use time and time again. The first time I used chicken breast and baked them at 375 flipping once at fifteen minutes. I also substituted garlic salt for the garlic.
