I'm a mum of 3 and like nothing better than to make my family smile when they eat my food. I also love music, playing the viola for orchestras and quartets when I get the chance. I'm loving cooking pastry dishes at the moment. My step-dad always used to make the most fantastic dahl - mine has never even come close! Cooking a traditional vegetarian roast anniversary dinner for 30 people of whom over 1/2 had never eaten English food or vegetarian food. It was loved by all and I had to write out the recipe numerous times! Gosh - loads! I'm very good at boiling pans dry! Once made popcorn in the microwave and set it for 10 minutes instead of 1 - the house smelt of burnt popcorn for days, the microwave continued to smell of burnt popcorn everytime we used it for years!
