Favorite Corn Bread

It was OK, but we found it quite crumbly and a bit bland. We won't be trying this again.

Hearty Vegetable Lasagna

Really good. I made this for a dinner where only one person was a vegetarian, but everybody thought it was delicious. Even my husband joked about giving up meat after that, and he's a real cave-man!

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin

Delicious! I use this with all different cuts of pork. It even works with chicken and as a sauce for veggie stir-fry.

Lime and Galangal Butter Sauce

Sublime! Once I figured out what galangal was and found it at my local Asian market, this became SO definitely a keeper. My husband, who is a very fussy eater, started eating with long teeth and ended up wiping up both our plates with a bit of bread to get the last of this delicious sauce. Make exactly as it says in the recipe.

Pumpkin Pie II

Apple Oatmeal Bar Cookies

I also found I had to add quite a bit more apple sauce to make the mixture manageable, and my family found the final product a little dry and boring. I tried again, and added 2-3 TBSP honey, which made it a bit better. Still, I don't think I'll be making this again.

Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing

I tripled this recipe and made a huge multi-layer version as my wedding cake. It was a great success, and i had to print out the recipe 14 times for some of my guests!
