Almond French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
This was wonderful! I used the sliced almond accents since I did not have anything else on hand & regular sliced bread. Next time I will use the loaf ~ thicker slices would be a nice change. Thanks so much for this recipe!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
Great recipe! I did make a few of the changes that had been mentioned. Cut the topping in half & the amount was about perfect. Used brown sugar in th topping instead of white, added 1/2 cup oatmeal. Made 7 gorgeaous cafe style muffins!

Easy Lemon-Blueberry Jam

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
This was super easy & set up perfectly. The flavors blend very nicely, not too tart, not too sweet. Made about 27oz total jam.

Leslie's Strawberry Breakfast Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
This was an amazing combination! I doubled the sauce as recommended by others & added abit more strawberry preserves. Just before serving I added some cornstarch & water to thicken the sauce then poured over the chops & a savory dill butter rice. Thanks for sharing!

This was very good. I love the addition to the regular zucchini bread ~ more complex flavors & eye appeal! Thanks for sharing.

Blackberry Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
This was amazing! I added 1/2 cup of chocolate chips that was in another recipe since I could not decide which one to try. The combo of flavors was unusual & very good. This is not a "runny" fruit pie, very dense. Actually once it had totally cooled you could cut the pie slice, then pick up & eat it like you would a bar cookie or brownie! Thanks

Blackberry-Chocolate Chip Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
The flavor combination of this recipe was very good. I actually combined this recipe with the Blackberry Pie 1 from this site. A new twist on a regular fruit pie. Thanks

Jalapeno Jelly

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
I addded 1cup of fresh raspberries to this & also used the box of pectin instead of the liquid. This is a very good recipe. The only thing is it could have been a touch thicker or more set. I even cooked a second time & added another full box of pectin which did help. I could have done something wrong, but that would be the only thing I wasn't happy with ~ flavor is great.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
This is a good recipe, but for us the bluecheese dressing was way too overpowering. I used Kens Steakhouse & only used 1/2 of the bottle. I also used the pillsbury pizza crust. I will make this again, but will use the boboli & not as much dressing. PS My hubby complained of heartburn that evening. sorry =(

This was amazing! I served it over white rice & followed exactly as written with the addition of the juice of two freshly squeezed lemons (about 1/2 cup) . Thanks!

Pumpkin Chocolate Dessert Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2007
I would probably say 3.5 stars. This was just okay for us. The glaze did end up being very sweet & grainy even though I did it very carefully & used a whisk. The cake is very dense but moist. Not really sweet at all except for the glaze.

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
The dough has absolutely no flavor. Center was not cooked all the way, edges were too dense. I doubled the entire recipe as others had recommended & baked in a 9" spring form pan. Also I had sprinkled cinnamon ontop of the berries prior to topping with the remaining dough.

This was just okay. The sauce was somewhat bitter due to the beer & the tomato paste. I had to add afew tbsp sugar.

Soft Sugar Cookies V

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2008
These did stay soft but did not have alot of flavor. I used cinnamon instead of nutmeg which you could taste. Rolled about 1/4" thick & baked for 6 minutes or so. Very filling.
