Grandma's Egg Custard Pie

I made this pie last night for our Bible study. It went over great! My husband and son love it! I baked it longer than what it stated on the recipe until it was done & placed a pie crust ring around the edge of the crust to keep it from burning. It turned out fine. Will definitely make this again!

Mandarin Orange Salad

I have made this salad several times. In addition to what is shown above, I add 1 1/4 c. sour cream, 1/4 - 1/2 c. walnuts, and 1 tsp. orange extract to add a little more flavor.

Yummy Lemon Salmon Burgers

Picante Cream Cheese Dip

I only used approximately 8 ounces of salsa (didn't have any picante sauce) and it tasted great! It was served for a dinner party as an appetizer, and the guests loved it!

This was very good, but I think next time I will add drained crushed pineapple to the cake mix, and stir in mandarin oranges after beating the cream cheese and adding the pineapple.

Garlic Parmesan Chicken

I made this for dinner and it turned out very tasty and juicy. I added garlic salt to the breading mixture, and baked it for almost 45 minutes. This is a keeper!

Banana Crumb Muffins

These were very moist. I added 1 tsp vanilla 2 Tbsp heavy cream to the banana mix really made them moist and rich tasting. I will make these again!

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

I wish I could say this was great, but it was just ok. The spinach seemed to be all we could taste. Couldn't taste the blue cheese (also added cheddar cheese, but no taste of that either). If I make this again, I will add maybe cream cheese, and use about half as much spinach.

Chicken Rice Casserole

We really like the water chestnut in this casserole. I didn't have any celery or mushrooms, but added chicken stock & Liption Onion Soup Mix. Will make this again!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

I added additional items, as several others did. We like our bbq tangy, so I added lemon juice, hot sauce, brown sugar, garlic salt & cajun seasoning, along with the bbq sauce. We let that all cook together with the meat for approximately 3 hours after breaking meat apart. The flavor was great!

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

This is a very rich but good recipe. I took the same advice as others with no water, added garlic salt, etc. Tasted good, but even better the next day as a leftover after the flavors had a chance to mix. I would make this dish once in a while.

Coconut Ambrosia Salad

I have made this salad twice for parties. It went over great both times! The changes I made were similar to the others, sour cream instead of milk, and added pistachio pudding. I also added some orange extract to give it a little boost. I will definitely make this again!

Scrambled Egg Brunch Bread

I made two of these for Sunday School. For the first, I followed the recipe, except added extra cream cheese, garlic salt & cajun seasoning. I did not really care for the deli ham. Next time I will use ham chunks. For the second, I used brocolli and the other extra items added in. It was loved by all. I will certainly make this again!

Country Breakfast Casserole

I made this for our S.S. class, and it got rave reviews. As some of the others did, I added mushrooms, garlic salt, put the bread on the bottom, and added 1/2 cup more milk than it called for. I made it up the night before to let it set all night. I will definitely make this again!
