We really love this. I add potato, too. So good!

I made this last night for hot dogs. In the south we eat homemade slaw, homemade chili, diced sweet onions and mustard on our dogs. This was perfect for a southern hot dog! I used beef broth instead of water. Since I was using 80/20 beef I just cooked my beef and mashed it, drained it, and added it back to pan. Then added the beef broth as needed. I used Rotel's tomato sauce with diced green chiles (try it if you can still find it). I used a small 8 oz can of the tomato/chile sauce for 1.5 lbs of beef. Otherwise, I followed the recipe to a T. Absolutely yummy! My husband who doesn't eat chili with beans commented that he could eat this chili with just a spoon. BIG statement coming from him! Thanks so much for sharing this one! I just made this on Wednesday (9/26/12) for my Mama's birthday. She wanted a Sweet Potato Pie and this is the one I chose. She said "it's the best sweet potato pie I have ever had." So right now, (9/29/12) I am making her another as she just got out of the hospital. I felt like she need a boost and this pie sure did make her happy. I followed the recipe almost to a T. The only thing that I added was (I used 2 med sized sweet potatoes), 1 Tbsp of flour, 1/4ish tsp of ginger and cloves to the other seasoning. I didn't have a piece, but the rest of my family all raved about it. And they are always honest with what they "really" think! Even the ones who don't eat Sweet Potato Pie. It did turn out beautifully. When I called to check my Mama, I asked, "do you want another Sweet Potato Pie" and she said, "Yes, I would love another that was the best pie I have ever had." Thank you so much Cougaar for such a delightful recipe that made my Mama so happy! I so appreciate you posting this!

I used ricotta instead of cottage cheese and jarred pasta sauce that I tweaked. Turned out easy and delicious!

I really like this recipe and tweak it to suit our tastes, but it's perfect as written. (I omit the olive oil, and drain the yogurt. As well as salt and drain the cukes. It really does make all the difference!

We thought these were really good. Served alongside a greek salad, pita bread and tzatziki sauce. YUM! Great healthy meal. Side note: we have tried this both grilled and baked. Grilled is definitely more what we are looking for, as if you bake this it becomes very soupy. (FYI, for those curious.)

I loved this. We made it gluten free by skipping the roux and adding some cornstarch to the dissolved milk, which I used instead of cream. I cooked the onions, celery and a couple cloves of garlic in olive oil. I used chicken broth because I had it on hand. I used a combo of NY Style Extra sharp cheddar and a four cheese mexican blend. Both shredded. Like others have said, if you like chicken wings you'll love this. Yummy! Thanks for sharing!

This is a great recipe. I don't use a full package of the Ranch, I just mix to taste. I add chopped green onions, fresh cooked bacon (have used Oscar Meyer bits, when in a pinch, too), about 4 slices of bacon, chopped. Then follow the rest of the recipe. You can also added diced sweet peppers, pineapple as well as other creative add ins. I did chose to roll mine in nuts, but only because I added the bacon inside. Otherwise, I would have rolled in bacon. Great recipe, and base for a recipe!

These were so good. We are a gluten free family so we used our normal gluten free flour blend in place of the AP Flour and it worked wonderfully. Crispy yummy fried pickles. Thanks so much for sharing! Update- I just realized that I didn't even notice last time that there was more cornmeal than flour so I used 3/4 c flour and 3/4 cornmeal, and you won't be disappointed. Whatever amount you use, just use equal parts flour and cornmeal.

I made this for Thanksgiving and within 5 minutes of serving it was gone. My family was raving about this one. I used Ghirardelli chocolate and 1/3 fat cream cheese. IT was yummy!

I would recommend NOT greasing your baking pan if it is already a nonstick surface. I have made these several times without fail. We really likes these a lot. Thanks for sharing!

I really liked this. The filling was a little sweet IMO, but all in all a great recipe and easy, too. I thought it "finally" set once it hit the fridge overnight, and was even thicker on day two (small household), but I didn't think it was thick enough after being made and cooled on a wire rack. It's a plan ahead deal. I have always LOVED chocolate pie and this was my first attempt at making it. I would use this recipe again and would also still continue to try others. This was good. I didn't have some of the ingredients for the BBQ sauce, so I decide to still give it a try using a bottled sauce. I used Sweet Baby Ray's sauce and made the remainder of the recipe as stated. We cooked it over charcoal, which is preferred in this household, even though we have a grill that will do both charcoal and gas. Next, time I will try the homemade sauce, as I typically love homemade BBQ sauce. Even with bottle sauce it was very good! Thanks for sharing!

This was yummy! Not too hot either, but a good kick and change from traditional cornbread. I did cheat and used Jiffy, added the freshly diced jalapenos, and then followed the rest of Jiffy's recipe. I added 1 cup of Monterey Jack cheese and cooked in a cast iron skillet separated for cornbread triangles. Next time, will make homemade CB, but it was still so good. Thanks so much for sharing!

We really enjoyed this recipe. It wasn't bland at all, like alfredo sauce can sometimes be. I used a clove (or two) of fresh garlic instead of the powder. I used 2% milk because it's all we buy so I did end up having to dissolve a little cornstarch (about a tbsp) in a little milk (just enough to dissolve the cornstarch) and added it. It thickened right up. I also used low fat cream cheese and 6 cheese italian blend. It was yummy! I served grilled chicken over it and added some sweet cherry tomatoes (halved) and summer squash, both of which I had sauted in EVOO until tender. Excellent meal!

This was exceptional. Our only addition was grilled blackened chicken and OMG! it was fantastic! 5+ stars! Thanks for sharing!
