Cioccolata Calda (Hot Chocolate Italian-Style)

this is so good, I add cinnamon and chilli powder to mine.. a little vanilla to the kids. very RICH..the kids also wanted it a little sweeter..

Banana Crumb Muffins

My kids ages 6 and 11 gobbled these up! followed the recipe to the T. Just added Cinnamon and vanilla to the batter and cinnamon to the crumb topping. My crumb topping melted :( wasn't crumbly, but I am sure with practice and better butter temp I will get it right...so very moist.. I ate 3 and never ever allow that! :)

Tuna and Chickpea Salad

easy and tasty :) I added a little more olive oil and lemon juice.. (I used fresh chickpeas that had been cooked and frozen then thawed) so they where a little drier than canned.. very good..will make 1000times more :)..oh and I had the artichoke with it! Perfect..and healthy

Hummus III

I use peanut butter instead of tahini ( Which is ground seasame seeds) when I cant find it. you can use any NUTTY paste..like almond butter.. ect..Tahini DOES have a special taste , but it can be subsittuted :) Happy healthy eating!!!!

Sweet Potato, Carrot, Apple, and Red Lentil Soup

Very filling and soooooo tasty! Kids loved it as well.. I did put less chilli and pepper only because my kids are sensitive to spice. We used sour cream and crushed sundried tomato wheat thins as topper. 5 star. Also I threw all this in the croc pot on low for 5 hours..then pureed.. easy peasy

Just like abuela used to make. So good and creamy.. perfect! Shared with friends..makes for great times.. everyone wants a bottle for them selves so im looking to get some nice bottles to give as gifts,,id give it 6 ****** s if i could!

Kettle Corn

Very good! I burned it to the point that the 3 kernals used to test the temp caught on fire lol. :) My hubby made the 2nd batch and it was perfect and yummy... he will be the kettle corn cook ..The kids loved this. gone in 5 min :)

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

these where very moist and yummy. i used the recipe as is. only i made it in a zip lock like some suggested and clean up was easy. all done in 30 min..wow.. i cant wait to try with choc chips..or just any variation..kids ate them up. :)

i use splenda and soy and it makes for a very high protien healthy treat..its my fav smoothie...the kids like it with chocolate syrup. i also freeze the bannanas... yum

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

Made this for memorial day picnic.. left the raisin out because the majority this fam doesnt like them..it was very yummy.. the best.. textured..so good! no slices left.. kids loved it.. used the cream cheese frosting II from this site, only used 2 cups of confectioners sugar..but it was perfect...i will make this again and again...

YUM YUM YUM.. so creamy...also used only 2 cups... very good... i bet it would be tasty with lemon or orange rind... made with same best carrott cake...a hit!
