Whole Wheat Ginger Snaps

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
I gave a batch of these along with shortbread cookies to my in-laws for Christmas and we all loved them. These really snap, but then are also chewy. They do grow in size a lot, so DON'T try fancy cutter shapes...like I did. :)

These are delectable. Buttery and smooth, and don't leave you thirsty. Just wonderful. They also keep their shape really well! These are great if you want some CUTE shaped cookies too.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
These are so good. They have the perfect balance of flavors between the butter sugar and cinnamon. I rolled my dough balls in a "healthy" amount of sugar and cinnamon and had beautiful results. I hate snicker doodles that leave you wanting just a little more topping so this is a good way to fix that.

This was okay. Very very rich and I like cake, so that is pretty rich.

Baked Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2007
So tasty! This was my first time eating sweet potatos and they were good. Everyone should try this, even if they don't like sweet potatos.

Beef Teriyaki

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2007
This is not a bad recipe, but not anything special eaither. It needs more flavor. I tried onion diced and more brown sugar.

I did not use the flavorings of this recipe, but the cook times were right on.

Sesame Green Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2007
These were pretty good green beans. Nothing too exciting, but they compliment any classic meal quite well. Make sure to toss the beans regularly for an even cook or some will be more stiff than others.

Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2007
This was easy and tastes good too. I used italian seasoning and garlid powder since I had it handy. I combined it with a creamy sauce and noodles.

One Minute Chocolate Icing

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2007
This is really good icing. Cooks should be aware that it is a syrupy-icing. Much like for Brownies. We really enjoyed it.

This was pretty good, but I thought it lacked flavor. The onions were quite tasty.

Crepes

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
These crepes looked beautiful and were pretty easy to make, but their flavor was debatable. I tried them with multiple fillings and never found anything I liked.

Marinated Barbequed Vegetables

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
I was unsure of how some of the flavors of the recipe would mesh together so I left out the basil. This was still pretty good.

Key West Chicken

My family loved this chicken. I did not marinate it long so, I served the meat with teh sauce drizled over the dish and it was still quite flavorful.

Regular Crepes

These were good and easy to make! I had to make them two days in a row because my family loved them so much. We added saute`d fruit and sweet toppings to add flavor. (green apples and whipped cream)

Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2007
This came out lovely! I am using it for Baked Alaska so I used a pie pan in place of the loaf pan. For the size change only a 40 minute baking time was needed. Thank you!!! (any first timers, like me, should not be alarmed at thickness of batter)

Best of the Best Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
These muffins are quite sweet! Even more so than expected! I am no expert, but I think too much sugar sprinkled on top caused my muffins not to rise as much. I plan to use the rest as dessert muffins and my boyfriend loved them.

Basic British Scones

I doubled the size and served them in a traditional shape. Same cook time and they were crunchy on the outside while soft on the inside. We loved them and ate them all! ^^
