Very tasty dressing. My husband and I loved it :) I used John Soules' Beef Fajita (fully seasoned & cooked). It saved me some time to prepare steaks.

Cheesy Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
I made this soup a couple days ago and we really enjoyed it. :) After reading the reviews, I wanted to use chicken broth instead of water, but, I couldn't find one at that time. So, I decided to use about 1tbsp of powdered chicken broth to add some more flavors to the soup. I agree with other reviewers that the use of sharp cheddar cheese will increase the flavor of the soup. So, I wanted to use sharp cheddar cheese instead of American cheese (slices). But, after thinking about it for a while, I decided to use American cheese slices. I did so because I actually made creamy soup about a week ago (w/ a different recipe) and unfortunately, for some reasons, my soup was separated at the end. I believe that the reason was that the cheese & the soup base wasn't blended well. I was afraid of it to happen to my soup again. When I put American cheese slices in the soup base, they melted perfectly. It was very easy to handle, too. I also added milk & flour mix to the soup (I added about 1~2tbsp more flour to make the soup thicker). The soup was very flavorful. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe :)

Simple and tasty :) A great recipe. I didn't have a non-sticking spray on hand, so, I put one more tbsp of olive oil and baked the potatoes.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2007
A Great Recipe! After reading the reviews, I decided to use lemon juice & pepper mix. I also substituted 1/8 vege oil & 1/8 olive oil instead of 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1/6 Japanese soy sauce & 1/6 Chinese sauce (a total of 1/3 soy sauce) & a mix of 1/3 sugar - dark brown sugar & splenda. Yum & Great! :)

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
This recipe is great.. I really liked the meatloaf :) After reading other users' reviews, I decided to make some changes. I used 1 medium onion instead of a small onion, I reduced the amount of brown sugar to 1/4 cup. I also added some drops of worcestshire in the ketchup. In addition, I substituted 3/4 cup egg matzohs for 3/4 cup soltine cracker crumbs. It turned out to be great. I will make this meatloaf again :)

Mock Lemon Chiffon Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2007
After reading other people's reviews, I decided to use lemon pudding instead of vanilla pudding. I also added about 1/2 tbsp of freshly squeezed lime juice (I actually wanted to add some lemon juice, but, I didn't have one at that time.) I think adding some lime (lemon) juice was helpful to increase some citrus flavor. The cake was moist and tasty. My husband liked it.

Light Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2007
After reading reviews left by other users, I decided to substitute some ingredients: 3/4 cup Splenda baking sugar (for brown sugar), 1/4 cup Brown sugar (for white sugar), 3tbsp of margarine & 3tbsp of applesauce (for butter). I also added a teaspoon of baking powder instead of 3/4 teaspoon, a little bit more chocolate chips & about 1/4 cup of walnut. The cookies tasted very good. (And they are significantly lower in calories :) I actually liked the other chocolate cookie recipes on this website, too. But, for a healthy snack, I will be using this recipe :) Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.
