Hot and Spicy Tofu

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2013
Who knew tofu could be so good! Never had tofu before, but I just made this and it has become my favorite meal! I basically followed all of the directions, with a couple of additions from other reviewers. I added beansprouts to the dish, a dash of honey and a dash of Mirin Asian cooking wine to the "sauce". With 2-3 minutes left on the timer, I added a box (two packages)of Kame Hokkien Stir-fry noodles. I absolutely loved it and so did my husband and daughter, except for the spicyness. Perhaps I'll reduce it to a 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes next time; otherwise I'll keep it at a teaspoon so I can enjoy the leftovers myself!! Delicious and highly recommended! Thanks!

Orzo with Chicken and Artichokes

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2012
Very good! Kept everything the same except I did not include pine nuts, used marinated artichokes and used 3/4 of the orzo. Definitely will make again!

Banana Pancakes I

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2011
This is a family favorite - and something to do with your bananas gone brown! Helpful hints: Instead of using 2 bowls for wet and dry ingredients - use one bowl. Mash the bananas first, then add other wet ingredietns EXCEPT the milk. Add the dry ingredients, then mix. Add the milk at the very end. I don't like a runny mix, so I have found that I do not need as much as the recipe calls for. Just add the milk to your desired texture. We added some chocolate chips to them as well. Yummy! Thanks for a great recipe! I will never buy boxed pancakes mix again!

MMMMM... Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2011
Yummy and Easy! Need I say more? I tried these brownies when I ran out of brownie mix and my daughter was having a sleep over. I happened to have all of the ingredients on hand, so I figured I'd give them a try. They were a hit! Not only are they fudgy, they are light and airy! I had to leave them in for about 27 minutes, at 25, they still weren't done enough. Delicious!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2010
I made this recipe for my family and my sister's and we have 5 kids between us. It was a hit!! Everyone was coming back for seconds! Definitely a keeper. I used the Kikomman soy sauce as one reviewer suggested and made the recipe just as is. Delicious! Best of all - easy!!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
EXCELLENT! I basically kept the same recipe, except I put salt, pepper and flour in a zip lock bag and shook the chicken to coat. I tripled the recipe and used 3 pounds of chicken and it fed 10 people easily. I also dry roasted some sesame seeds and added it to the mixture. There aren't many recipes that I come across that every one (4 adults and 6 kids) likes/loves and this is one of the few! Will definitely save this one and make again! Thanks for sharing!

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
WOW! I have a duplex with my sister and we cook for each other's families 2 days a week. It's very hard to find a recipe that all 9 people like. (4 adults and 5 kids) This was a hit with every one! I'll definitely be making this recipe again.

Yummy and very easy dish! I live in a duplex with my sister and we share cooking duties. It's very hard to find a dish that everyone (9 people)likes. This is one of those rare moments when they came back for seconds! Thank you for sending it in :)
