Watermelon and Vanilla Yogurt...It was THAT simple

Well, there was also a blender involved, I suppose, but does that really complicate matters all that much?
Not at all.
Based solely on the fact that I've never seen anywhere for sale yogurt with watermelon, not only had it never occurred to me that the two might be combined, but the thought of is simply seemed wrong.
Turns out that if it is, indeed, 'wrong,' I don't want to be right.
Inspired by the fact I had an aging half-a-melon in the fridge waiting to be used as well as two tubs of vanilla yogurt thanks to poor memory while cruising the aisles at Trader Joe's, I decided to throw all caution (and reason?) to the wind and just go
full-throttle on an impromptu breakfast smoothie consisting of nothing more than those two things.
The result? Good enough to know I hope to repeat it again tomorrow, if not as a treat after dinner this evening.
The watermelon is liquid enough to thin the yogurt to make a smooth, refreshing treat. I highly recommend. I tried to blend some ice into it, as I tend to like my beverages colder than what some people (i.e. The Missus) believe to think reasonable. Ultimately,
I preferred it before I added the ice.
