Spring Rolls

These were a little bland. I think with a little tweaking they could have more flavor. I would also use less noodles next time and more cabbage.

Million Dollar Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2008
The fudge tasted amazing, and this was the very first time I tried to make fudge. The only problem I had was the fudge was a little too soft when handling it. I was looking to get something that was a little firmer but with the same texture this fudge had in your mouth. If anyone knows any tips on how to firm up the fudge a bit, I would welcome all advice! I also boiled the sugar mixture for an extra 2 min (I live at over 6000 feet in elevation, I always cook things a few minutes longer), and I used milk chocolate instead of the German chocolate. However, I will use the German chocolate next time as the recipe calls for.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
These were excellent. Be sure to eat them quickly because they get very moist and the tops get a soggy but are still really good. My husband would take 2-3 for lunch every day even though the tops weren't crunchy anymore!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
I made these last night and they were even better than the recipe I normally use. I made a few changes...I added 2 tablespoons more butter and about 1/4 cup more sugar. I only did this because I was not going to ice them and I wanted the cookie to still be sweet enough. While baking them I sprinkled colored granulated sugar on top and even some cinnamon sprinkled on the cookies for my husband. I would recommend refrigerating for atleast overnight or putting the dough in the freezer for an hour. I tried to roll them after an hour in the fridge and was not able to roll them out.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2007
My husband and I absolutely loved it. I left out the beer and seasoned the meat before, added 1/2 of a coarsely chopped onion, and 1/2 cup of worcestshire. The dip was still a little too light for my taste so next time I think I will use 2 cans of the condensed soup.
