Potato Cheese Soup

Yum! The first time I made it I didn't cook long enough after adding the flour mixture so the soup had an uncooked flour taste, but the second time I made sure to cook longer, and it turned out great! Thanks!

Henry and Maudie's Oatmeal Cookies

These cookies are the best! I followed the recipe exactly and added about 34 cup raisins, and my husband, whose favorite cookies are oatmeal raisin, raved. Not too sweet, but you could probably safely reduce the brown sugar to 1 or 14 cup. Thanks very much, Henry and Maudie!

Breaded Brussels Sprouts

I have never really cared for Brussels Sprouts (my mom always called them Martian Heads), but my husband loves them. When I made this dish tonight, he said they were the best he has ever had. I substituted Italian-spiced pre-made bread crumbs and therefore eliminated the seasoned salt, and boiled the sprouts for 5 minutes (not 6), and reduced the butter by half. And even I loved them! I'll make them for the Thanksgiving table.
