Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

Reviewed: May 22, 2008
Absolutely GREAT! It was quick and easy. I made a couple of changes tho for my preferences. I used 1/2 sugar and put 1 tbs of chocolate syrup; still too sweet. I used a Caupachino flavored mix (i know i spelled it wrong - sorry) and absolutely DELISH! thanks for a great recipe

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
I dont know how this got so many raving reviews. To me - it was just sugar and peanut butter. Really sweet and 8 minutes did not suffice in baking time. Had to bake it an extra 5 minutes.

Antipasto Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2007
This made a GREAT lunch! I left out the broccoli and added crumbled feta cheese. I left the pasta and parmesan cheese in the dressing overnight. In the morning, I added the pepporoni and feta cheese. It was yummy!!!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2007
These would have been delicious! However, their didnt seem to be enough baking powder, so they were very very thin and did not rise at ALL. Despite that, the taste was awesome. Maybe I did someting wrong?

These were definitely not the best oatmeal cookies I've had. But they're OK

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This is the best apple pie I've ever had in my entire LIFETIME! And this is NOT an exaggeration. I tried it on my selective and diabetic grandmother and she had to force herself to stop eating it! I tested it on 4 others as well, and all of their responses... Wow! Kristy? Did you make this? My family used to live by Publix apple pie. This put it to SHAME! And it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo easy!!!! I can't describe how much I loved this, Rebecca.

Cinnamon Raisin Pinwheels

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
These are the perfect BREAKFAST cinnamon rolls. It was definitely NOT too sweet. It was accompanied nicely by some sausage with melted cheese. I made some changes. 1) I didn't add quite as much cinnamon. 2) I didn't use muffin pans, either. Oh! And a tip, if not using muffin pans, put each individual roll face up.

Roast Duck with Apple Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This was my first attempt at duck. I can't really say I was dissapointed with this, due to the fact that its results were my mistakes. First, the duck was very, very rank. So much so, that it was NOT enjoyable. And finally, it takes much work to prepare! This would not have been so, if I could've found my apple corer. (I recruited my family, instead)! Therefore, I can't say that I'll tackle duck again but it is probably not the recipes fault! SOLUTION? My aunt suggested PROPERLY drying the duck, in order for the rankness to dissappear. Despite this, it would've probably been delicious. Especially because the stuffing was YUMMY-fULL

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2007
I brought these to a "Movie Night" and it was devoured! Next time, I will use the frosting, for I felt that it wasn't sweet enough. My oven is TERRIBLE, so the consistency was lacking due to this. But the taste, totally made up for it. For several minutes, a friend of mine told everyone "Try the brownies, they're delicious!" Thank you Angie, will make again!

Mom's Warm Milk

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
My mother and my brother loved it! They though that it was soothing and comforting. However, I didn't enjoy it. The nutmeg seemed to overpower the taste. Otherwise, it would've been fantastic, but I just couldn't get over the excess of nutmeg.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2007
These were great! However, in my case they did not rise to the extent that would be pleasing. This may be due to leaving it in the fridge overnight. If they were soft and flaky, I would no doubt rate this a 5!

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2007
This has great potential. Quick and easy, although I feel it lacked Parmesan flavor. Next time, I'll combine parmesan cheese with the breadcrumbs, EQUAL AMOUNTS! I just know that will make it absolutely PERFECT!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
Simply fantastic! However, the French bread doesn't need to broil that long to achieve perfection. Also, you must serve it either hot or cold. DO NOT SERVE AT ROOM TEMPERTATURE. If you do it will lose the highlight of flavor, the taste that makes it fantastic.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2007
This recipe was simply amazing! Everybody in my home enjoyed it and that includes my picky/"selective" cousin. It was gone in a matter of hours! Only slight variations were made: I used butter instead of shortening, I reduced the recipe to 18 servings, and I didn't add cloves. Despite these changes it was DELICIOUS! Even better than the ones sold in Publix or Winn-Dixie!
