Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2005
This recipe is fantastic! It is so moist and flavorful, and is very predictable! I just add a little cinnamon for extra flavor. The neighbors loved it for Christmas!

Bob's Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2001
This is the best blue cheese dressing ~ and I love blue cheese! I only order blue cheese dressing on my salads, and have tried numerous recipes. This is is reminiscent of the restaurant that you went to and said " Wow, now THIS is good blue cheese!"

S'mores

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2001
I made this for a baseball concession stand donation, and was asked to make it every night of the tournament after that! One night I didn't, and everybody was asking for it! I can't tell you how many people asked me for the recipe! It really is luscious!

Kathy's Award Winning Barbeque Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2000
This was a great recipe! I finally found my standard barbeque sauce. My husband asked me to never buy it in a bottle again. I did make some changes, however. I didn't have molasses on hand, so I used corn syrup, but only used 2/3 cup. I also didn't have any tomato juice, so I left that out. It still was superb. Thanks so much.

Tossed Romaine and Orange Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2000
I loved this salad! The flavor of the dressing was very subtle, but perfectly suited for the salad. It's a nice break from regular salad. My husband and son didn't like it so much -- but I think they like their standard-tasting salad. This is for the more adventurous and someone who is looking for a change. I was pleasantly surprised about how the flavors went together. Thanks for the recipe!

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2000
When they said "melt in your mouth" they meant it! Our family loves steak and this one just tasted fantastic. For quite a while at the dinner table, all you could here was "Mmm,Mmm"! Thanks for the recipe! We used ribeyes, by the way (that's our favorite cut of steak).

BLT Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2000
My family really enjoyed this salad. We eat low-carb and lots of fruits and vegetables. Sometimes you run of ways to make another vegetable or another salad. The family just loved the way that it had such a different flavor compared to regular old salads. I added cheddar cheese on the side as an option and we all liked that, too. The flavor of the dressing was perfect with the flavors in the salad itself. Definately try it if you're tired of salad the same old way!

Anniversary Chicken I

Reviewed: May 16, 2000
This was a very simple recipe to make. I even used real bacon broken up and it was still very simple and quick. The family loved it! I thought that the different flavors blended very well for a unique taste to what can be boring chicken. It was really quite good!

Bourbon Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2000
I loved this recipe and had been looking for one for a while! We had enjoyed Bourbon Chicken in restaurants, but never found a good recipe. This one was great. I did make one change, though. I cut the chicken breast in chunks prior to marinating, and then fried them on medium-high quickly until done. This gave the chicken more surface to soak up the marinade so each piece had a ton of flavor! It also made it a quick dish to prepare. After marinating throughout the afternoon, I fried it in less than 10 minutes. My two boys (7 and 1) loved it, too!

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2000
This recipe is fantastic! My husband was beside himself! He said it was as good as anything you'd by in a great restaurant. He has asked me to make it for his family for our big family reunion. My son loved it and he didn't care for scallops until he tried this! Now he wants it every year for his birthday dinner! I omitted the shrimp and fish, just because a friend gave us 7 lbs. of fresh-off-the-boat scallops and I needed to use them. It was a winner that way, also. Thank you for this recipe! It will become a family tradition!By the way, the 1 year old baby liked it, too.
