Ham and Cheese Puffs

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Everyone LOVED these! I doubled the recipe so that one batch could be no onions. I'm glad I didn't use all the onion suggested on the w/ onions batch b/c that would have been WAY too much onion! Will definitely make again!

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
Very good and very easy! I also just used whole milk instead of half and half. And boiled the chopped raw potatoes for 10-15 minutes instead of baking them first. Also, it wasn't thick enough b/c I had doubled it and forgot to double the flour (duh), so I added some instant mashed potato flakes in the end and whisked them in and it worked great to thicken it up! The family loved it, I'll definitely make it again.

Sausage Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
Very good! I, too, had to cook it about 10 minutes longer than the recipe calls for. Maybe next time I will rinse the sausage also. It was pretty greasy while cooking. I was happy to see that the amount of grease lessened as it cooled.

Monkey Bread II

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2008
I really liked this recipe! My mom used to make this for us and it tastes very similar to her recipe. I poured the remaining sauce over the bread before letting it rise. After baking, I dumped it onto a plate and the top was soggy although the bottom was done. I just broiled it for a few minutes on high and it was perfect. There were suggestions from family to make it with more sauce next time. I thought it was sweet enough. I recommend saving a little of the sauce for those who'd like to dip! :)

Lemon Cheesecake Squares

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
I didn't have any oats so I used a graham cracker crust and strawberry jam instead of raspberry. I made these for an event and went to cut them into squares and the cheesecake kept sliding off the crust a little because of the jam. (That's why the 4 stars, not great presentation.) But the taste was very good!

Gooey Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
Simple, my 4 year old helped me make these! And VERY delicious! I baked them at the full 13 minutes because I don't care for really gooey cookies. The texture was perfect and they were a big hit. Next time, chocolate cake mix!

Lemonade Pie III

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
A great summertime dessert! I accidentally added a whole large can of lemonade, don't do that. :) Unbelievably it still got eaten, it was like pudding though. VERY YUMMY!!
