Too Much Chocolate Cake

The BEST chocolate cake I have ever had/made. Made it a 4 layer cake with milk chocolate frosting for a birthday party. People are still asking me about it and asking if I'd consider selling it regularly.

Out of this World Turkey Brine

I normally use Alton Brown's recipe for turkey brine but it is so complex. This did not produce a turkey that was full of flavor but for a simple recipe it produced a moist turkey!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I've made these about three times now and they definitely require low and slow cooking. I don't like raw onions - cooking low and slow allows them to cook and blend with the dish. I also layer everything.

Banana Cake X

For as easy as the recipe is...I'm impressed. This compares to the banana loaves you find at Starbucks. Great banana flavor, super moist and great texture. I'm known for my banana bread and use this recipe when I don't feel like doing it all from scratch!

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

Was good. Cake was perfectly dense and moist. My girlfriend adds an extra cup of strawberries and says it makes a huge difference. My husband loved it but I will not make again. Just didn't do it for me.

Bread Pudding II

I have been do dissapointed by recipes in the past and this is fabulous and easy! This is my new bread pudding recipe. I had leftover rolls and made 2 batches: one with raisins and one with chocolate chips. They're both already half gone!

Easy Apple Coffee Cake

Absolutely amazing! Adding to my regular rotation! I made twice...first time followed recipe exactly substituting butter cake mix for yellow. Second time I ommitted walnuts and mixed apples with cin/sugar before layering all in the center. Reason for 4 stars is that both times the cakes were structurally a mess. 2nd time was much better. Made sure not to overmix batter as pudding starts to set which leaves space in the cake as apples start to cook down, Overall amazingly simple and out of this world flavor. Will continue to play with until I get the structure just right!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Exactly what you think of when you think of pot roast. Just perfect! I lightly floured mine and then browned it - this way it made its own gravy; no need to thicken the juices.
