Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
This is a great recipe to substitute venison for the beef, since it is extra lean. I'm always looking for different ways to use the venison since my husband and friends are hunters. It was delicious!! The only thing I changed was adding a bit of minced garlic to the meat.

Spaghetti Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2008
Tastes awesome! I needed garlic salt but may add garlic to the recipe next time. I took the advice of other reviews and cooked the onion first. Also added canned mushrooms and a fresh chopped tomato in place of pimento and pepper (personal tastes). Was low on cheddar so added some parm and crushed corn flakes for topping. Covered with foil for the first 30 min of cook time.

Breakfast Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
Yum! I did cook for an extra 20 minutes because it looked runny in the middle. Added some cheese to the mixture too and would even add more. I will try onions next time too. Overall, very delicious.

Spicy Crab Pasta

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
Too spicy for my taste. Used only 1 tablespoon of red pepper flakes and should have used less. Could use less butter too.

Mushroom in the Middle Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
Not my favorite. The meatloaf was too dense. I cooked for extra time after reading reviews and it still wasn't enough. I also didn't like the skin that formed on top from the soup.

Valerie's Fruit Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2007
Awesome! I read the reviews and used extra creamy cool whip and whipped cream cheese. Everyone loved it!! Makes a huges batch though. I suppose you could put some back in the cool whip container and freeze for later.

Apple Crunch Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2007
I used Macintosh apples but I did add a little flour after reading reviews. The pie came out perfect. It was delicious!! I also used chopped walnuts because I didn't have pecans.

Tarragon Beef Stew with Vermouth

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
Yum! Great flavor! I also left out the extra water. I didn't have tarragon but I added a small onion and there was plenty of flavor. I also cooked in the crock pot and it came out great.
