Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
I've made falfel a couple times in the past and it has not turned out good. I was weary of trying another recipe but i'm glad i did, for once it did not turn out dry and bland. These had a nice crispy outside and moist inside. I left out breadcrumbs entirely because I did not have any, but i rolled them in corn meal. I had no issues with them falling apart while cooking, they stayed perfectly intact. I'm not sure breadcrumbs would of really added anything to it anyway. Will definately make this again. I did not make the sauce though, I just added cucumber to greek yogurt.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 12, 2011
These turned out good, reading some reviews I thought they were going to turn out cakey but they were not, though they're not the fudgyest brownies either, they were more fudgy than cakey to me. I made the icing as well, I added a little milk to it because I don't think I measured out enough butter, I thought the icing was fine. I wouldn't say its the best brownie I've made, but I'd say it's up there.

Best Ever Creamy Soup

Reviewed: May 11, 2011
I halved it and used onion soup mix instead of the chicken cubes. It turned out very good, would make again.

Corn Casserole I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2011
This was alright, but nothing special and I don't think I would make this again. I used half the amount of butter and used shredded cheese, I don't think more butter would of made any difference.

Lentils and Rice with Fried Onions (Mujadarrah)

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
I was hesitant to make this because it sounded bland, but I was surpised how nice it turned out to be. It was a nice simple dish, easy to make, and quick so I give it 5 stars for that, and I would make this again. I did add a little cumin and cinnamon like some had suggested and used millet in place of rice.

Sweet-Sour Kidney Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2011
This was very tasty, the sauce was nice and had a nice flavor, I would definitely make this again. I did not use a tomatoe because I didn't have any on hand, but wouldn't of added it anyway, it sounded weird to me to put it in a sweet and sour dish.

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2008
These were ok. I added chicken and tomatos, the tomatos were an improvement but still wasn't anything great. I would not care to make this again. A good thing about it was they were quick and easy to make.
