Campbell's® Golden Chicken with Noodles

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2011
This recipe is awesome. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I did modify it based on what I had on hand, and some of the other reviewer's suggestions. This is how I made it and it turned out amazing: I mixed 1 can cream of chicken soup, 2 tsps dijon mustard, and 3/4 tsps garlic powder in a bowl. I added the water in a little bit at a time and stirred constantly until it was the consistency I wanted. I then added 1/4 cup of sour cream and stirred until it had a creamy smooth texture. I omitted the lemon juice and carrots altogether. I used a 9X9 square glass pan and coated it with cooking spray. I cut up 3 large chicken breasts into thirds, coated them very lightly in plain bread crumbs, and placed them in the glass pan. I poured the sauce over the top of the chicken and baked for 25 minutes at 400. I sprinkled parmesan cheese over the top of everything and baked for another 10 minutes. Served over egg noodles it was delicious! I will definitely be making this again!

I'm sorry to say...but I thought this was just ok. I followed the recipe, but found it kind of blah.

White Cheese Chicken Lasagna

I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to rave about this like most of the other reviewers did. I followed the recipe exactly...and still didn't think it was amazing. I thought it was good...but I don't think it's good enough to be worth the hour and a half I spent in the kitchen making it...I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll be making this again.

Bob's Mexican Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I made 3 changes due to what I had on hand...and this still came out wonderfully. I didn't have any corn flakes...so I used bread crumbs. I also only had 1 very large red bell pepper...so I just used that. And finally...I didn't have any plain cheddar...so I used a mexican blend shredded cheese. I made this with Spanish Rice IV (also from this site) and they complimented each other perfectly. I'll definitely be making this again.

Spanish Rice II

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I thought this was very easy. It didn't have as much flavor as I was expecting...but, maybe I just didn't add enough chili powder. I made it to go with Bob's Mexican Stuffed Chicken (from this website) and they went together perfectly. I will definitely be making this again.

Baked Ziti IV

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
I thought this was wonderful. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because I made some changes to suit my own family. I used 1 pound of ground turkey instead of the beef/sausage (I always do this to reduce our red meat intake...and so far no one in my family has been able to tell it's turkey we're eating instead of beef). I added beef bouillon to the turkey as it was browning. I used 1 jar of spaghetti sauce and thought that it was just the right amount. I skipped the mozzarella and the Parmesan. The last change I made wouldn't affect the taste at all...as I just used a large glass baking bowl instead of the 9X13 pan. I covered the bottom with noodles, added enough sauce to cover the noodles, covered that with enough of the sour cream/cottage cheese mixture, layered the sliced provolone cheese on top of that, and repeated the layers until I got to the top of the bowl.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2010
This was absolutely amazing. I used a sirloin tip roast, and followed the recipe exactly. My only complaint (and it's a minor one) was that there was way too much sauce...I had to throw some of it out. I think next time I will use just 1 can of the mushroom soup. I always ate mashed potatoes with roast growing up...but, as my husband doesn't like mashed potatoes, I made Savory Herb Rice (from this site)...to go with the roast...and the sauce from the roast complimented the rice perfectly. I will definitely be making this again.

I thought this was absolutely wonderful. Easy to make...and not a lot of time. The only thing I did differently was not including the green pepper...otherwise I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out just delicious. Will definitely be making again.

Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic Shrimp and Broccoli

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
I thought this recipe was wonderful...It would get 5 stars...except I did change just a couple things... First, I used spaghetti noodles instead of angel hair. I don't think that really affected the taste. When the shrimp was 1/2 way cooked, I tossed in the frozen broccoli and cooked it that way (instead of steaming it). I also doubled the amount of pesto, and added some red pepper flakes. The sauce never did thicken up for me...and I was worried it would be a little thin...but once I tossed it all with the noodles, it coated them perfectly, and was just the right amount.

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2009
I changed a couple things... First...I didn't pre-bake my peppers. After I stuffed them, I just baked them for the time listed, and they came out just fine. Second...I omitted the red bell pepper. I made this with the Savory Herb Rice also found on this site...and they complimented each other perfectly. Very tasty.

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

The only thing I changed was to add a little bit more tomato paste...and that was just because I already had an open can in the fridge and wanted to use it up. Otherwise, I followed the recipe...and it came out perfect. Very tasty.

Easy Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2009
I thought this recipe was great. I did make a couple MINOR changes. First, I boiled the sausage, whole, in about 1/2" of water until it was ALMOST done. Then I sliced it. I omitted the green pepper and used garlic powder. I added a dash of beef bouillon powder. I strained the tomatoes…but did not strain the beans, as I wanted the dish to taste more like beans than tomatoes. I brought it all to a boil, and added a little bit of water to give it more of a sauce, then let it simmer until the sauce was the thickness I wanted. I also added red pepper, as my family likes things spicy. It turned out wonderful! My husband is loves beans, but is really picky about the way they're cooked. I’ve tried several different recipes…and he hasn’t liked any of them. Until this one. He absolutely loved it, and has requested it twice more already! I’ll definitely be making this many more times.
