PHILADELPHIA Creamy Pasta Primavera

Reviewed: May 25, 2010
Made exactly as directed except used broccoli and shredded carrots instead of the zuchini and asparagus.

Big M's Barbadian Chicken Skewers

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
Tasted just like Jamaican jerk chicken. When I made mine, I added less habenero than was called for and it was still plenty spicy. I think the full amount would be too much.

Asparagus Roll-Ups

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
This was fast and EASY. I combined the bacon, chives, and cream cheese in the food processor and used 2-3 thin spears of asparagus in each roll.

Chicken Vindaloo

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
This was good, but I agree with the other reviewers. The spice combination was just a little off. I think I'd add less cloves, a touch more cinnamon, and some mustard powder next time. We DID finish the leftovers though so it was pretty good.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
This was FANTASTIC!! I doubled the sauce and threw in a little garlic powder along with the celery seed. I also cooked the chicken and veggies in broth. Didn't have enough chicken broth so I ended up using about half chicken broth and half veggie. I made these into individual sized pies and it was enough filling for about 10-12. They were fantastic!!

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2011
Fantastic mashed potatoes. I boiled a garlic clove with the potatoes and added a bit of extra milk and butter. I added half a package of ranch powder at the very end just because that's what my mom did growing up. They were perfect.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Not sure if it was something I did wrong or just the recipe but I think I followed it perfectly. The flavor was just not good.

Mini Cheesecakes II

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
These were the hit of the party! I used mini muffin tins and made about 55 of these with this recipe. They only needed to bake 10-15 mins and I topped them with canned cherry pie filling. They were wonderful!

Simple Scones

Reviewed: May 11, 2008
This was one of the best scone recipes that I've ever made. They came out perfectly moist and delicious. I made the Orange Cranberry and Lemon Blueberry variations. I was unable to find dried blueberries, but frozen worked just fine. I also made some Apple Cinnamon ones and a Pumpkin Caramel version. For the pumpkin scones, I used 1/4 cup sour cream and 1/2 cump pumpkin in the 8 serving recipe. After they're baked, drizzle with caramel ice cream topping while still warm. They were great.

One of the best breads I've ever had. I added 3/4 cup honey instead. I will DEFINATELY make this again. Got wonderful reviews from everyone who tried it. Make sure to use a really good quality honey because you can really taste it.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
FANTASTIC! I ended up putting mine in a grill pan rather than baking it. The sauce was fantastic. Nice and thick. Served with rice and broccoli.

Stir Fried Sesame Vegetables with Rice

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2011
This was delicious! I used whatever veggies were on sale (cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, etc.) and added rice noodles directly to the stir fry rather than serving it over rice. The sesame oil makes all the difference.

Ashley's African Peanut Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2011
This was fantastic. Needed more salt than mine had but I used low sodium chicken broth. Once we added a tiny bit of salt it was fantastic. We usually don't finish our leftovers but this got finished!

This was fantastic! I doubled the sauce because I used a whole large box of linguini. It came out great! Definitely a keeper.

Supreme Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2010
This was fantastic! I followed what one of the other reviews said and used 4 cups shredded cheddar and 1 1/2 cups sour cream. I used cream of broccoli soup instead of the chicken. I also added two strips of crumbled bacon to the sauce. I layered the raw sliced potatoes with the sauce and cheese. I added cheddar and 1 slice of crumbled bacon on top. Baked it for an hour. Everything was wonderful but I'd cook the potatoes a little before layering them next time.
