Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Fantastic mashed potatoes. I boiled a garlic clove with the potatoes and added a bit of extra milk and butter. I added half a package of ranch powder at the very end just because that's what my mom did growing up. They were perfect.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This was fantastic. I ate it 3 days in a row. Used cheap beer instead of something really nice and couldn't tell the difference. Next time I'll add a can of chicken broth also because it was a little more like stew than soup to me and was overloaded with shredded chicken. Otherwise it was perfect.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

This was not as good as I'd hoped. While simple, it may be too simple. It was alright on the taste scale, a little salty but nothing spectacular. If i choose to make beef stroganoff again, i'll choose another recipe.

Supreme Scalloped Potatoes

This was fantastic! I followed what one of the other reviews said and used 4 cups shredded cheddar and 1 1/2 cups sour cream. I used cream of broccoli soup instead of the chicken. I also added two strips of crumbled bacon to the sauce. I layered the raw sliced potatoes with the sauce and cheese. I added cheddar and 1 slice of crumbled bacon on top. Baked it for an hour. Everything was wonderful but I'd cook the potatoes a little before layering them next time.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

This was great frosting. Great texture and taste. I made two batches, one as the recipe calls for and one with a package of plain gelatin in it. The latter held up much better overnight in the fridge. Will be making it that way in the future. I mixed in fresh raspberries and it was phenomenal as a filling for my cake.

Made these exactly as the recipe said and they did not come out at all. The salsa was waaay to runny and they just came out as mush. Will keep looking for an enchilada recipe. The flavor was great though. Will use the same flavor combination to make a casserole.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Had this at a family dinner and everyone said it tasted like restaurant spaghetti and meatballs. Great compliment. This recipe is super easy also. The only thing I did differently was browning the meatballs in a skillet before adding them to the sauce. They came out great.

Smoky Four Cheese Macaroni Bake

5+ This was great. Didn't want to use the liquid smoke so I added 1/2 tsp smoked paprika instead. My boyfriend said it was the best mac and cheese he'd ever had. Really great reheated out of the fridge and freezer as well.
