This recipe is awesome! Ten minutes ago, I had no sweets in the house. Now, I have a giant, burning hot bowl of pudding in my lap! This is wonderful! 4 servings? Not if i can eat faster than three other people can discover I've got pudding!

Aunt Anne's Sesame Cookies

This cookie is wonderful. I rolled it in skinny logs, chilled it, sliced it, brushed with milk and sprinkled with seeds, then stacked 10 cookies and wrapped in plastic wrap, then tissue paper twisted shut at the ends. Very festive on a tray for any party. :). Today I'll make them as written just to stuff in my face!!!

Danish Oatmeal Cookies

insane! it sounded weird but there is nothing weird about it! these cookies are a perfect hybrid and the best new cookie i have tried in a long time! i substituted hazelnut extract for the vanilla because that is what i had. these are definitely going to make the rotation!

Wine Cookies (Original Italian)

i really wanted to like this recipe. i'm sure it's just a matter of personal taste that i don't. first time around i made them exactly as the recipe was written even though i was skeptical about the absence of salt. after i tasted them i realized 1) i really did miss the salt and 2) that the taste was just not there for me. so really wanting to make this a delicious cookie that i would love i made them again, this time with a tsp of salt and one other change: i put melted butter instead of oil. i still don't like these cookies. my tastes are pretty varied and i am very open minded about new things, but this just wasn't the recipe for me. i really wish it was! a traditional recipe passed down for generations has so much appeal. unfortunately the taste of these cookies was just not what i hoped it would be.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

this cake blew my mind. i'm always thinking the more 'sophisticated' recipe will yield the most delectable result but i can fold in all the egg whites i want, when it comes to the perfect cake, this is it. so springy, so moist, everything about it screams sensation. it's my 'go to' cake from now on. making it tomorrow as a last minute request because it comes together so quickly it's worth the effort to be able to say, 'o, yeah. i made that from scratch.'

Chicken Salad Balsamic

even my sister, who revolted at the idea of a chicken salad without mayo, went nuts for this dish. i didn't have celery but i put a wee speck of celery seed. it's my favorite chicken salad now. a flavorful change from the ordinary.
