Reviewed: May 2, 2013
pretty decent. I followed others recommendations and cooked the sauce stove top first, still didn't really stick to the chicken. Flavor was good

pretty decent, easy dish. Made minor changes: Used one 28 ounce can of crushed tomatoes rather then whole and sauce. and added garlic about a 1tsp.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2010
The only thing I added to this recipe was some dried parsley and coated the roast in the montreal steak seasoning and a little flour before browning. I also added the veggies mid way through cooking with about 3 hours left of cook time.

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2010
I really enjoyed these, the peppers were cooked perfectly and I did not baste, just covered. I added shredded chedder on the bottom before I filled the peppers and topped them off with it too. I did season the meat first and cooked with real onions and garlic. I also used 1 15oz can and 1 8oz can of tomato sauce. I also used more rice, one cup uncooked. enough to fill 3 large and 3 medium peppers.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

best recipe i have ever made. 11 mins baking did the trick. But, you'd have to be making some pretty big cookies to get only 24 cookies out of this recipe.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2010
Live in chicago and this was closer to the real thing and better then expected. I used others notes and used beef broth instead of water. I also added chili pepper flakes. I left out the salt all together and doubled the salad dressing mix. I only used 2LB beef. It came out salty to me. but will definitely try again.

Party Punch IX

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
I was so excited to have a new punch recipe that it seemed everyone enjoyed. I was very let down. I made this for Christmas. I made this recipe as is... First of all when they say large bowl it needs to be really really large. Mine ended up in a big stew pot, because non of my bowls were large enough for all the liquid. Second, cut the sugar, WAYYYY too sweet!!!! Luckily I bought extra ginger ale and you could make a tolerable glass with half ginger ale and half punch. I was also hesitant because of the gelatin. And I didn't really end up liking that either. It tasted like I was drinking Jello. I gave it two stars because the kids drank it. Another tip, take the frozen punch out a little early to slightly thaw, so you don't have issues.

Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2009
YUMMM eating for days. This is the first time I had ever made beef stew and it was pretty easy. Make sure not to add any additional salt before you taste it. The bouillon adds plenty. I coated the beef in 1/4 cup of flour and a teaspoon each of garlic and onion powder and 1/2 teaspoon or pepper. I used 3 1/2 cups water and 1/2 cup of red wine for starters. I ended up adding about another 3/4 cup of water and splash of wine in the second hour of cooking. I also took the advice of others and used 6 teaspoons of cornstarch and water to thicken. I thought there were plenty of vegetables and no need to add more as others had recommended.
