Blueberry Pie

This pie had delicious flavor, just wouldn't try again with Alaskan blueberries. They were too seedy and much too watery. I even added 6tbs of cornstartch and it still looked like pie soup-and we waited 4 hours after making it to cut into it.

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Oh my gosh-this was wonderful!! What a great way to use up my zucchini and tomatoes from the garden. Had 15 people over for dinner and made this as a side dish (I doubled the recipe) and everyone was fighting over it! I did use 4 cloves of garlic and about double all the spices, but we like things spicy around here. So good-next time I might try to add sausage or something and make it a main dish.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Wow! This was so good! I used orange bell pepper just because I like them better and I used the cooked chicken from Costco-delicious! I think this will come in handy after Thanksgiving-use the lef-over bird instead of chicken? Thanks for the recipe!!

HOLY COW THESE ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! My sister made them and they hardly made it an afternoon! They get even better on day 2, but you'll have to hide them to get them to last that long.

Barbeque Halibut Steaks

Very good! We used it on halibut and tried to marinate it, but the butter got hard. Next time I won't marinate it, I'll just baste it like the recipe says. Great flavor though.

Honey Barbecued Spare Ribs

This is a wonderful way to cook ribs-they turned out so tender and juicy. I did not like the sauce however. We had a bottle of BBQ sauce on the side. One great tip though-ALWAYS pull off the shiny membrane that you find on the bone side. No matter how long you cook your ribs, this membrane will always be chewy, so get rid of it.

Make Ahead French Toast

My sister made this for her family for Christmas morning. I came over to her house on the morning of the 26th and had a piece of the leftovers and it was still amazing. I can't imagine what it tasted like fresh! This is a keeper for sure!

Pork Roast with Thyme

This turned out great and looked cool too. Everyone commented on what a great (fancy) cook I was-little did they know how easy it was to make. One small problem-I didn't have a roasting pan so I put it in a 9X13 and that must have been too big because all the juice evaporated off within the first 30 min. (Also-my house really smelled like vinegar for the first hour). I freaked out when I saw the juice was gone, so I added 1/4 cup of water. I had to do this about 3 times because it kept evaporating off. Not sure why, but the roast tasted great in the end.

Anniversary Chicken I

This was good, but very greasy. If I make it again, I would take it out of the pan as soon as it comes out of the oven. My husband really liked the taste though.
