Boiled Chicken

This recipe is great! I'd never thought of boiling chicken before. I used boneless chicken breasts, and just put them in a pot with onion and carrots and water. Make sure to use a big enough pot though, cuz the water boiled over in mine.

Peach and Strawberry Sorbet

This was a very good sorbet recipe. I made it with my friend, and we used half of the amount of sugar called for because the fruit that we used was very ripe. It turned out great, except that it could have been a bit icier. We also used a blender instead of a food processor and it turned out fine. I'll definitely make this again, and maybe experiment with some different fruits.

Zucchini Brownies

Amazing! These were delicious. I do agree with some reviewers on the fact that these were not extremely dense. However, they were definitely NOT cake-like. Like other reviewers, I used half applesauce/half oil, and I didn't make the frosting. I added a few chocolate chips into the batter to make the brownies even more chocolatey, and they were delicious. Thanks for the great recipe!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

These were amazing! Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, just like a chocolate chip cookie should be. I usually have a problem getting cookies to spread out all the way in the oven, but these spread out perfectly! Thanks for the great recipe!

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

We made this cake, and it turned out pretty good, but it could have been better. We made it in a 9 by 13 pan, and skipped the crushed pineapple. When we tried to cut the cake, it kind of fell apart. I don't know if this was because of the cake mix that we used, or something else, but that's okay. It tasted great and was a hit at my sister's birthday party.

Health Nut Blueberry Muffins

These were very good! However, I tried to make mini muffins out of them, and they kind of fell apart in the pan, so I would suggest NOT makinig mini muffins. I still had some batter left over from that, so I put it in a loaf pan. The blueberries kind of sunk to the bottom, but it still tasted great. The blueberries that I used were really big, so that may have caused the problems. On the most part though, these were great. My little sister and her friend helped make them, and they both thought they were delicious!

Buttermilk Scones

Wow! This was the first time that I'd ever made scones, and these turned out great! I added about a quarter cup of maple syrup to sweeten them and add maple flavor, and I addded raisins and chopped walnuts. I also used a little less flour and added in some dry oatmeal. They turned out delicious! Everyone in my family loved them. Thanks for the great recipe!

My sister needed a Swedish recipe for a class project, so she made these and everyone loved them. I've made them since then with great results also. However, the cookies are pretty hard, which is my only gripe. Maybe if I cut down on the sugar they'd be softer. Besides, with jam on them, no one would be able to tell that I cut out the sugar. Other than that they're delicious!

Deep Dish Brownies

These are such good brownies! And they are also very easy to make. For a lower fat version, I substitute half of the butter with applesauce. You can't even tell that they're low fat! I also only use 2 eggs and omit the baking powder.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread II

This was great! We used half oil/half applesauce and cut down the sugar to 1 and 1/2 cups. Then we added chocolate chips, raisins, and cranberries. We made mini muffins out of the batter and sprinkled powdered sugar on top. They were amazing!

Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles

These are the BEST!!! I usually stick with chocolatey cookies, but I decided to try something different, and I'm so glad that I did. These were amazing! Instead of rolling them in maple sugar, I used cinnamon sugar, and they turned out great. I also used butter instead of margarine, and I replaced some of the sugar with extra maple syrup. They were easy and had a great texture. I usually have a hard time getting cookies to spread out in the oven, but these worked perfectly! Everyone that I know loved these, and I even gave them as gifts. They were great!
