Manhattan

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
I may be a Minnesota girl, but I love a good Manhattan ~ I actually had my first one in Seatle, WA. This is an excellent recipe - burbon whisky is the way to go. Oh - and add a little splash of cherry juice!

Pepperoni Dip II

This is a quick and easy dip. Hearty and satisfying. I also add a can of sliced mushroom and black olives. Goes well with Triscuts.

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
I really enjoyed this recipe. I made mini loaves and it took on a muffin like texture and taste. I also subsituted 1/2 of the eggs with milled flax seed to add nutriution and cut the fat. I also used apple sauce instead of oil to reduce the fat.

Best White Icing Ever

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
Great for cake decorating. I thinned part of it with milk and used it to cover the cake and used the thicker frosting to add decorations.

Fudge Layer Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
This was a fairly good recipe. It was a little dry. I used it to make a father's day cake. The icing I used was Best White Icing Ever. I filled the layer with carmalized sweet and condensed milk. Next time I will try to fill the layer with wipped cream (add moisture).

Caribbean Pasta with Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
This recipe was wonderfull. I didn't use any chile paste or curry powder (didn't have any). Instead I used red pepper flakes and the result was a dish with the perfect amount of kick. I also used plain brandy and a splash of orange extract in place of the Grand Marnier. I also used ground ginger and sundried tomatoes.
