Cracked Sugar Cookies II
I made these because I didn't have butter. They were great! I used butter flavored shortening and shaved off a tablespoon due to the flat/greasy reviews. I didn't wait for them to chill or roll them in sugar. I also added a 1/2 tsp of lemon extract. They were not at ALL flat and very tender.

Roasted Vegetable Chicken
I followed other reviewers and used the Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotissere seasoning and rubbed the chicken instead of using salt & pepper and I stuffed the chicken with an onion also. I used chicken broth instead of the water and seasoned the vegetables with salt, pepper and basil. I also let the skin brown by raising the temp to 375 for 20 minutes or so. This was moist, flavorful, and my family loved it.

Sunday Best Fruit Salad
This recipe was very good but I had to modify it. First beware of chilling before you serve. I put mine in the fridge overnight and the pie filling turned into some sort of gel and the whole thing was awful until it sat out a few hours (have you ever had refrigerated apple pie? that consistency). The other downside to my refrigeration was that the pineapple lost it's flavor. It absorbed the other flavors and ended up being pretty much just decoration. Second following a previous review I added 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1tsp of vanilla, which I thought was plenty. Very good but if you need to prep ahead make sure you have some time for the pie filling to return to consistency and wait to add the pineapple.
