Better Than Sex Cake I

I've been making this cake for several years. This is the first time I've heard of adding the fudge topping. I always mix a jar of caramel ice cream topping to the sweetened condensed milk and warm it in the microwave so it's easier to pour into and over all those holes. This cake is even better the next day (if it lasts that long). Since we're such big fans of Heath Bars, I use no less than 6 on this cake. This is one of my all time favorite recipes. It's easy and delicious!

Apple Enchilada Dessert

Deep Dish Brownies

Oh My Goodness These Brownies Are Great!!! I cut the eggs back to two and omitted the baking powder. I also added chunks of chocolate. They were chewy and delicious. I can't wait to make them again.

Blonde Brownies I

Yummy!!!! I love these Blondies. They are easy and delicious. I doubled the recipe and used a 9 x 13 pan. I baked them for the full 25 minutes and they turned out perfect.

Mrs. Sigg's Peanut Butter Cookies

These cookies were really good. They remind me of my grandmother's peanut butter cookies. I used 1 cup of Butter Flavored Crisco instead of 1/2 c. butter - 1/2 c. Crisco. I always have better results using the shortening instead of butter. I will use this recipe again.

Cornish Splits

These rolls were perfect! I made them for our Christmas dinner and everyone loved them. They were dense (like we like them) and had good flavor. I've made this recipe twice now and they turned out great both times. I will use this roll recipe from now on. Thanks!

Easy Chocolate Chip Pound Cake

Babe Ruth Bars

These bars taste great. I don't think they taste like the candy bar at all though. I have to agree with several other reviewers about the appearance of these bars. They're not very appealing, but I think I can improve on that. They were very easy to make. I will make these again. Thanks for the recipe.

Aunt Bill's Brown Candy

My mom gave me this recipe last Christmas. I made two batches of the stuff. It's well worth the effort. I honestly thought Aunt Bill was a relative somewhere down the road. I assumed that was how my mom got the recipe. She said this was a favorite candy of hers many years ago. I highly recommend this recipe.

Savory Crescent Chicken

These pocket sandwiches were o.k., but next time I will use my chicken salad recipe and see how that turns out. I might try adding more veggies to the chicken mixture too. We'll see which one turns out better. In my opinion, this recipe was just a little too bland and kind of dry.

Beef and Biscuit

This dish was pretty good. What it lacked in appearance, it made up for in flavor. I used a can of Rotel. I also used flaky biscuits because they're easier to separate. I'm not sure if I will make this again or not. It was quick and easy though.

Peanut Candy Bar Cake

I love these bars. I made them for a church lunch. They were gone before I could get one. (Good thing I had saved a few at the house) Several people asked me for the recipe. I made these bars many years ago, but they were called something else. I'm glad I found them here again!

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

This was absolutely delicious! I made this soup for dinner last night and my family loved it. I used half & half and omitted the tarragon. I also went a little easy on the garlic. We are not big garlic eaters around here. I had the cheddar cheese ready to add to my bowl, but changed my mind after the first bite. It didn't need the cheese to make it any better. I can't wait to show this one off to my friends. Thanks for the recipe!

Tater Tot Bake

I thought this was a great dish. My husband loved it. My 4 yr old wouldn't touch it because of it's appearance. My 12 yr old ate it up. I will make this again. It was quick and easy to prepare. Thanks for the recipe.

Chewy Coconut Bars
