A little bland. I also added shedded potatoes and bacon. Maybe next time I'll add broccli too.

Hot Apple Cider

Good recipe. I made it using 1/2 an orange with the peel cut up instead of the orange and lemon peels. I also added a handful of sugar as it was a little bitter. Will definitely make this again.

I had to add a little more milk than the recipe calls for, but otherwise good.

Very good, but next time I'll use pork chops that aren't so thick.

Very good. But next time I'll save the marinade and use it to baste the meat once or twice while cooking.

We enjoyed this dish. I added a little milk and some peas, and used cream of mushroom soup instead of chicken.

Very good recipe. Really easy (my 3 year old son helped me). The cupcakes were moist and had a great flavor.

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
I followed some of the suggestions of other reviewers. I doubled the strawberries, pureed half and sliced half. I only used 1/4 c of oil. I also added a teaspoon of vanilla. It turned out great!

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

This was soooo easy, I doubted how it would taste. But my husband and in-laws (who owned a bakery) loved it, and they are professionals. Thanks for the recipe. I'll definitely make it again.

Salmon with Brown Sugar Glaze

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2010
My husband, my 1 year old, and I loved this! My 5 year old didn't, but he doesn't seem to like any of my recipes with mustard. This one is a keeper.

Vanilla Ice Cream V

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
This recipe is sooooo easy. We don't have any ice cream maker, but I just beat it with a handmixer and put it in the freezer. I made it as written, but I made part of it with 1/4 cup unsweetened cocao powder because we wanted chocolate too. The second time we added crushed Chips Ahoy cookies and stirred them in when it was half frozen. All 3 tasted great! Like store bought. Thanks for sharing.

Bacon Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
Great recipe!! I did make a couple of changes though. I used chicken broth instead of beef. I also stuffed the chicken with onion and garlic as well as the carrots. And I used both thyme and rosemary to season. My whole family loved it!

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
My husband and I really loved this recipe. The only change I made was I used the juice of a whole lime (about 4 or 5 tsp) and I baked it with the marinade at 350º for about 30 minutes, flipping the chicken half way. Thanks for the recipe!

Indian Saffron Rice

Loved this dish! I used chicken broth instead of water, but if you do you should omit the salt. And I used saffron threads instead of powder.

Grilled Fish Steaks

Great recipe. I just made a couple of changes. I didn't have basil so I used 1/2 tsp of oregano and 1/2 tsp of thyme. And I used lime instead of lemon. I baked it wrapped in foil at 450º for 20 minutes.

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
Great recipe! I made them as muffins baking them at 375º for 15 minutes, but next time I'll bake them at 350º. I only made one change because I didn't have ground cloves. I used 1/2 tsp of ginger and 1/2 tsp of nutmeg (as another reviewer suggested).

Butter Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
We really enjoyed this, but I did make a few changes. I used half the butter, just 1/2 tsp of paprika, much less salt and pepper, and added 1/2 tsp thyme, doubled the nutmeg and added 1 cup of chicken broth.
