These are great! I made them as written and used the Sugar Cookie Icing recipe from this site. This is my new sugar cookie recipe. Thanks!

Homemade Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2011
Texture was great, but the flavor was a bit bland. I substitued pumpkin pie spice for the spices called for, but maybe I should've added a bit more.

Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
I made this without the mustard as my 6 year old doesn't like anything with mustard in it. My kids love it this way. I like it too, but I think it would be better with the mustard.

Maple-Garlic Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 30, 2011
My husband and I really liked this, but my 6 and 2 year old kids not so much. I also baked this at 425º for 35 minutes instead of grilling.

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
My Spaniard husband, whose never had a homemade Mexican tortilla, loved these. The flavor was great, but I had a hard time keeping them thin enough. When I took them off the press they shrunk up and got thicker.

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2011
Great recipe! It was fine as is, but in the end I did double the sugar as suggested by others. We like our frosting sweet.

We really liked this. I doubled the cinnamon though (I'm a cinnamon freak!). Next time I'll add nuts too. Thanks for the recipe.

Cinnamon-Sugar Popcorn

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
I really liked this, but my husband (who isn't a cinnamon fan) thought it was too cinnamony. If you like cinnamon, this is for you!

Cream Cheese Ranch Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2011
Great recipe!! My husband and guests loved it. Only made 1 change. It was too dense so I added some chicken broth to thin it up a bit. This is going to be my mashed potato recipe from now on. Thanks for sharing.

Butter Roast Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
We really enjoyed this, but I did make a few changes. I used half the butter, just 1/2 tsp of paprika, much less salt and pepper, and added 1/2 tsp thyme, doubled the nutmeg and added 1 cup of chicken broth.

Excellent recipe!! Easy and very good. Whoever said to line the pan with foil is a GENIUS! Cleanup was a snap. Will definitely make this again, and again, and again. . .

Apple Breakfast Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
Great recipe! I made them as muffins baking them at 375º for 15 minutes, but next time I'll bake them at 350º. I only made one change because I didn't have ground cloves. I used 1/2 tsp of ginger and 1/2 tsp of nutmeg (as another reviewer suggested).

Grilled Fish Steaks

Great recipe. I just made a couple of changes. I didn't have basil so I used 1/2 tsp of oregano and 1/2 tsp of thyme. And I used lime instead of lemon. I baked it wrapped in foil at 450º for 20 minutes.

Indian Saffron Rice

Loved this dish! I used chicken broth instead of water, but if you do you should omit the salt. And I used saffron threads instead of powder.

Key West Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
My husband and I really loved this recipe. The only change I made was I used the juice of a whole lime (about 4 or 5 tsp) and I baked it with the marinade at 350º for about 30 minutes, flipping the chicken half way. Thanks for the recipe!

Bacon Roasted Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2010
Great recipe!! I did make a couple of changes though. I used chicken broth instead of beef. I also stuffed the chicken with onion and garlic as well as the carrots. And I used both thyme and rosemary to season. My whole family loved it!

Vanilla Ice Cream V

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2010
This recipe is sooooo easy. We don't have any ice cream maker, but I just beat it with a handmixer and put it in the freezer. I made it as written, but I made part of it with 1/4 cup unsweetened cocao powder because we wanted chocolate too. The second time we added crushed Chips Ahoy cookies and stirred them in when it was half frozen. All 3 tasted great! Like store bought. Thanks for sharing.
