I'm a medical student and love to bake and invent interesting and healthy dinners. For me, time is usually limited but I do enjoy an annual bake-athon for Christmas holiday gifts and study breaks to make up cookies or muffins.

My latest interest is experimenting with Asian cuisine and biscuits. I'm looking forward to grilling season here in Minnesota for some corn-on-the-cob and kabobs!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Food has a large tradition in my family. They're a hard bunch to live up to with their tart competitions, wedding cakes, and time honored family recipes.
Each Easter we make great-great-grandma's sweet bread recipe. My grandpa is usually in charge as we crank out up to 10 loaves. More recently, my aunts and uncles have given it a try to. Last year we traded around 4 3 different versions of the bread. Let's just say that by May I had had enough!
