Marzetti® Italian Penne Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2011
SO good! I made this for a crowd and everyone was asking for the recipe. I found the dressing at Whole Foods in the refrigerated section. I did leave out the chicken but it would be just as good with it. Also I couldn't find the tomoates so I added a can of italian diced tomatoes and it turned out wonderful!

No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars

oh my gosh...this has to be the best choclate/peanut butter bar ever. It is SO simple -taking about 7 minutes- and is so good! The only thing I hate is waiting for it to cool!!

Becky's Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
I liked it. I am thinking I wasn't too happy with my chicken, wish I would have just used precooked cubes- I had used some leftover chicken (white and dark) from another recipe. I needed maybe an apple. It wasnt as sweet as I was thinking it would be. I did use 1/2 yogurt and 1/2 mayo. Thanks!

Easy Oatmeal Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
I liked the recipe and te consistency of the muffins. I think like other said it is a great starter muffin, would be good with nuts, bananas, raisons, ect. I did sub the oil for applesauce- turned out fine. Also cooked about 19 minutes in a stone muffin pan. I think they would be perfect with some good jam, just didnt have any...kids ate them which is what I was going for.. thanks!

Won Ton Wrapper Appetizers

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
SO GOOD and easy...took only about 20 minutes and it was a whole meal for our family of 5. I used 2 wonton wrappers per cup, baked 7 minutes and for one batch took them out to fill, then the 2nd batch just left them in there and added the filling- worked out fine. I used HOT sausage, the exact recipe plus a tad tomato and green onion and S&P. They were so fun to eat and the kids even loved them! I did cook the sausage first and after adding the filling to the cups, cooked about 10 minutes only.

No Bake Choco-Peanut-Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2007
wow, I found this recipe, made it and enjoyed it all in 30 minutes! My 4 year old helped, and it couldn't have been easier. Very yummy! We couldn't even let them cool long enough before eating them. ** I ran out of sugar at 1 1/2 cups, so added a few tablespoons of brown sugar- came out perfect (and still very sweet!)

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
I think these are the best cookies I have had in a while...kinda crunchy on the outside and chewy/soft in the middle. I cooked them 11 minutes and they came out great...HOWEVER, I used chocolate pudding and I think next time will use vanilla- REALLY sweet. ALSO, I only did half the recipe and it made LOTS of cookies...gonna have to give some away, might gain 5 pounds eating all of them!

Vegetarian Lime Orzo

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
I really likes this- very diffrent than what I usually make. It has a light "limey" taste and even my 3 toddlers ate it! I peeled thin strips of a zuccini and squash (I hide them!) and used a tomatoe broth as I did not have veggie. I loved the light flavors and will make again! God Bless!

I thought the flavors were nice, just I started them soaking the night before with the veggies, think it kinda made the chicken tough, will try just maybe a couple hours before and keep basting it while it is on the grill

I thought this recipe was wonderful! A nice change from apple or cherry. I used fresh raspberries and added maybe a tad more tapicoca, came out perfect. Let sit for a while before serving and add some ice cream on the side- YUM!
