Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Awesome. Didn't have time to make the butter pockets, but the turkey was brined anyway, so it was plenty moist. Great flavors.

Please read this...how many times have you had charred, rubbery ribs at a barbecue? This recipe is spectacular, and absurdly easy, you guys. Pull 'em out of the oven, slather some BBQ sauce on them, and throw 'em on the grill for 10-15 minutes. My brother-in-law asked what restaurant I got them from. Just divine and so easy.

Marinade for Chicken

Easy and fabulous. I marinade chicken tenders with it and slap 'em on the grill. Happy wife and kids for sure. I just add a little fresh garlic. Good stuff!

Oven Baked Jambalaya

This is wonderful. Just cook the rice separately...no need to panic. I add fresh shrimp and diced, fresh fish about 20 minutes before it's done. Ham is good too...I just like the fresh fish option better. I put the diced chicken in raw at the beginning, and it comes out perfectly. I also use kielbasa sausage (no andouille at the local Wal-Mart) and it's fabulous. Man, this is awesome stuff, and easy to make, even for a regular dude like me. I made it for a dozen family members and there wasn't much left.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Just perfection. Man, Allrecipes.com is making me popular with neighbors and friends. And it's turning me into a gourmet chef because of 5-star recipes! I just added chocolate chips. Wonderful.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

The best chili recipe, hands down. I just omit the beer: that's it. I use Tapatillo for the hot sauce and it's glorious. I usually can't find the spicy chili beans, but I'd use them if I could. Wonderful, perfect.
