I made these cookie bouquets for each of my son's teachers last Christmas using this recipe and "The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies." I used Wilton treat pans for the snowmen and circles, and a G&S lollipop cookie pan for the snowflakes (which are actually daisies - the pan also has tulips and butterfies). The G&S pan is great for those interested in cookie bouquets as it is non-stick and the cookies come out easily without breaking. These cookies baked about 15 minutes in the special pans on top of another regular cookie sheet, which helps them cook evenly throughout (these cookies are best when BARELY tan on the edges and not super-doughy in the middle, they will firm up as they cool). I find it easiest to pipe on the icing edges and details with a generic squeeze bottle (like the ones restaurants put ketchup in), then fill the edges like you normally would with a small knife or spatula. You can also paint on smaller detail with a small vinyl craft or icing brush if needed.
