Sweet Corn Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2012
I made the recipe just as stated. They are definitely sweet and don't have that gritty-corn-bread texture. The 1 TBS of baking powder is no a typo. If you want them to rise, you'll need to add that. Also, I made mine with paper liners. Yeah, don't do that. There's no grease in them so they stick to the paper liner.

Fall Festive-tini

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2011
A great alternative to other fall martinis. Yes, do try it with diet ginger ale to lessen how sweet it is. I would also suggest lessening the amount of peach schnapps.

Ghirardelli® Dark Chocolate Truffles

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
We made over 600 of these for my wedding favors and cake decorations. It's such an easy recipe and easily triples. We would almost exactly 30 truffles out of each bath too. If you're going to dip them in chocolate, I suggest making them smaller because the coating will add a significant bulk.

Colorful Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2010
Not the creamy corn chowder you might be thinking about but reminiscent of the flavors with a lot more veggies. I like to think of it as the healthier alternative.

Tortellini Bites

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2009
Just following the recipe and not adding anything to it results in a dull, distasteful dish. The sauce was more sticky than creamy. Rather disappointed. I used low sodium chicken broth and still thought it was too salty. I think it's best to start from scratch using a different recipe.

Cherry Shortbread Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
I can't say I've made too many shortbread cookies but these were melt in your mouth amazing. Thank you for the tip to only use 3/4 cup butter, I dare say that you might be able to get away with only 1/2 cup butter.

Joel's Jerk Chicken Pineapple Pasta

Reviewed: May 20, 2009
I followed the advice of another review and didn't add as much cinnamon and more pineapple juice. It was delicious!!! I will definitely make this again and add some more veggies. Thanks for such an easy and delicious meal!

Ultimate Valentine's Day Chocolate Truffle

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
These taste amazing! I didn't have a mold so I put them in a mini muffin pan. They didn't come out though, so I scooped them out with a spoon and took a small cookie cutted and cut the shape out of them that I wanted. Everyone was right about the dipping in chocolate part, it needs some oil. Also, I did not have any gold leaf so I dipped mine in cocoa. Delicious!

This was delicious!!! I only had whipped cream and had to add about 3 cups of it to come to the right consistancy.
