Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2007
Delicious! This was my first time making sausage gravy and it was just as good as any restaurant. My only complaint would be that the gravy didn't have much sausagy flavor, I think because the sausage didn't leave behind many drippings. I might try something other than the maple sausage next time.

Pink Dippin' Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
I only made this because it had pink in the title and I was hosting a bridal shower where the theme was everything pink......but ewwww....one taste and it was down the drain. I'm not sure who would want to dip something in this oily mixture....but it wasn't me.

Pizza Dough I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2007
Awesome...I've never made my own dough before and I'm so happy I finally did. Now I wanna make pizza all the time. I did let it rise for a while because I had time to waste, and I made a deep dish pizza in a pie pan. It was delicious. The only thing I will do differently next time is cook the dough by itself longer before adding the toppings and maybe try my baking stone.

Barbecue Beef Cups

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2007
Not quite sure what all the hype is about. This really didn't do it for me. It tasted exactly like what it was...ground beef covered in bbq sauce in a biscuit. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I probably won't make it again. I can see how kids may like it...similar to Sloppy Joes. Nothing special.

Bacon Quiche Tarts

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Very good, but like most of the others, there are changes that I would make. First of all, I would use less cream cheese and one extra egg. The cream cheese was a little overpowering. I think I'll use swiss cheese next time and maybe add some chives. You could almost add anything, and it would still be delicious. I did have a lot of extra filling, so I definitely reccommend getting two packages of crescent rolls. But overall, great....I can't wait to experiment with this recipe.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
Good, but you definitely need to add a lot to it for some good flavor. Almost felt like it needed some sort of sauce because it was quite dry. I think it would be awesome as a breakfast food, maybe with eggs.

Angel Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
I liked this, but after reading all these rave reviews, I was a little disappointed. I guess I was expecting something a little more spectacular considering someone wrote it was the best recipe on this site...my husband enjoyed it though. You definitely need to double the sauce, so that was a helpful tip. I added broccoli which I would highly reccommend to give it some crunch. I'll probably make it again, but its not the best on this site by any means.

This recipe was delicious...I had never attempted to stuff chicken before, but it was fairly easy and so worth it...I would definitely make it again.

Awesome Broccoli Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2007
Not a huge fan of this recipe...kind of bland. If I decide to make it again, I'd probably switch out the cream of broccoli soup with something more flavorful, like cream of onion. It seemed to be missing something, but it wasn't horrible.
