Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
I followed the directions, as well as the suggestions in other reviews to use about double the amount of blueberries. The end result was that the french toast casserole part was bland, unsweet, and had too much egg flavor. The flavors of blueberries and egg just didn't go together. The cream cheese added some tangy flavor but it was just overall really, really, bad. The blueberry syrup/topping was the best part. I wish the casserole part was sweeter, or that it could taste like blueberry french toast instead of just bland, unsweetened blueberries and eggs.

Banana Banana Bread

I followed others' advice here - add a few spices (cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg) for extra flavor, add about a cup of cinnamon chips before baking, and stir just until the ingredients come together. I also used half whole wheat flour and half white flour. It came out moist and delicious. Will definitely make this again!

Quick Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
I've made this recipe twice and everyone loved it. It took a little longer to bake than the directions said, and I added about 1/2 tsp of almond extract. Delicious and easy! This will definitely be one of my go-to recipes.

Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2007
Everyone loves this! I've been asked a dozen times for the recipe. I took the advice of other reviewers and decreased the oil to about 3/4 cup, and added zest & juice from one lemon. My first batch was too dark on the bottom and sides, so I decreased the temp to 325 degrees and baked two loaves for an hour. Delicious!
