Elegant Mushroom Soup

A simply delicious cream of mushroom soup recipe! I doubled the recipe and added some sherry wine. As suggested, I pureed some of the cooked mushrooms and then put them back into the soup mixture. Wow! Everyone gobbled it up and asked for more.

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

A group of us tasted this delicious cake a few month ago while vacationing in Puerto Vallarta. We fell in love with it and wanted to duplicate the recipe when we got home. There were many recipes to choose from, but I think I chose the perfect one!! Everyone raved about this cake and thought it was better than the one served in Puert Vallarta. I used coconut milk in place of regular milk and double the whipping cream topping. Yummy!!

Caramel Shortbread Squares

These are a sinfully delicious and very rich. I followed Kirsten's advise to the letter and the shortbread squares turned out perfectly. I'm so glad I doubled the recipe. They were the perfect addition to my Christmas Cookie Platters that I sent out to all my friends!!

Ragu® No Boiling Lasagna

I was so impressed with how easy this recipe was and how tasty it turned out! I did add fresh sauteed mushrooms and 1 lb. of ground beef to the recipe. I found I needed extra Rague to ladle on each serving. The uncooked lasagna noodles soaked up alot of the sauce and I thought it was a bit dry. Thank goodness I had an exra jar of Rague. I will definitely make this again!

Raspberry Sour Cream Pie

Wow! Very unique and delicious pie!! I too, used just 1 10" pie pan (not enough filling for two 9" pies) I did, however, use 4 cups of berries instead of 3. (I used blackberries) I increased the cooking time by 5 - 7 minutes and then added the topping for the regular cooking time. I willdefinitely make this again Yummy!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

OMG!! This was, by far, the best rib recip and I've tried many. I've fixed this recipe 3 times now and I've gotten rave reviews every time! Please make sure you make the BBQ sauce in this recipe. It is fantastic! The only changes I made were to use only 1 cup of water and 2 TBL. of wiskey instead of just 1 TBL. By accident, I used chili powder instead of red chili pepper for the dry rub. Turns out....I like it better! They taste even more terrific the next day!!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Delicious berry I will make again and again. Perfect just as the recipe is listed. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Yummmmmm! A definite keeper.

Barbecue Ribs

The best barbeque rib recipe ever! I also boiled the ribs in 3 parts beer and 1 part water for 1 hour. I added 2 Tbls. of liquid smoke and omitted the rum from the sauce. Let the ribs marinate in the sauce for a few hours & the grilled the meat for 20 minutes. Wow! This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Sweet Pasta Salad

A fantastic sweet pasta salad. I added broccoli, sliced cherry tomatoes & cheddar cheese to make it scrum dilly iscious! Next time though, I'll probably cut the white sugar down to a half a cup! A definite keeper!

Carrot Pineapple Cake I

Fantastic Carrot Cake!!! Moist & Tasty! Followed the recipe to the letter (I love raisins, so I added this to the recipe) Turned out perfect. I'll probably double the icing recipe next time!! Yummy!
