Wow! The dough for these cinnamon rolls is PERFECT. Soft, lightly sweetened, easy to knead, fluffy. It was my first time working with bread dough/yeast and it was easy for a beginner. I knew I wanted to make them a bit more special, though, so I used the caramelized pecan topping from "Overnight Caramel Pecan Rolls" from this site, but other than that, I did not change a thing. One note, though: I put these in the oven at 375 F, hopped in the shower, and when I got out of the shower, I could already smell a hint of burning. I rushed to the kitchen and checked on the rolls and they were already done after 12 minutes! Next time, I'll either lower the baking temperature or just take them out early. Thank goodness they weren't actually burnt - these were delicious. Note - they did take me 2 hours to make (not counting baking time). I don't think that's all just because I'm slow!
