About this Cook
I'm a single mom of a 3 year old girl, my daughter and i live in a house with my parents in the beautiful Okanagan valley.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook in one pot. This isn't so gourmet but it's fun easy and you can make the meal your own.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Baking and Summer time canning. As a kid i hated these traditions but as a mom now I love it. THe fruits of our labour make all the work so worth the time and effort.
My cooking triumphs
Cooking for the ex-in-laws. THey are world traveller and having triumphently pulled off a 4 course meal with rave reviews was huge for me.
My cooking tragedies
None come to mind as of yet...i'll keep you posted.
Recipe Reviews 4 reviews
I make this recipes at least once a week for my family. My 8 year old daughter is on her way to memorizing this recipe just as I have.

Carrot-Raisin Salad (Bunny Salad)
Made for Easter Bar B-Q, had way to much left over to be happy with this recipe. I followed the other reviewers suggestions and lessened the cinnimon.

Maple Salmon
My husband and I went on a ocean fishing trip this last summer and came back with a frezzer full of salmon. We are constantly looking for new recipes inorder not to get board with all this fish and this recipe has landed at the top of our list. My husband being a very picky eater doesn't always take seconds but when he does I know it's a good thing. There was not a crumb to lick off anyones plate. We cooked it on the bar-b-q as a whole slab. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME
