Broccoli Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2014
It was fabulous! I can´t say that I followed the directions to the letter but the changes I made were because I didn´t have all of the ingredients or I wanted to make things easier. I didn´t use celery. I steamed fresh broccoli. I only used 1 cup of uncooked rice therefore the liquid is necessary but I used milk instead of water. Shredded cheese on top and not melted with soups (didn´t heat soups). Seasoned salt, black pepper, paprika, and the onions cooked in butter is vital. Baked covered for a while and then I uncovered, added cheese, and baked for about 15 additional minutes. Good stuff!

Terry's Favorite Easy Chicken Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2010
This is great! I used half the cream cheese and doubled the soup...I used cream of potato soup because the bag of frozen veggies didn't have potatoes in them. Worked out perfectly! I make this all the time. Oh and I used rotisserie chicken from the grocery store to make it even easier.

PHILLY Creamy Rice, Chicken and Spinach Dinner

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2008
I liked this dish. It's not for everybody but if you like spinach and tomatoes it's great! My grocery store didn't have the dressing so I browned the chicken in olive oil first and then went ahead with the other ingredients. If you wanted some crunch, you could chop up some water chestnuts. I'll make this again!

Lasagna Alfredo Roll Ups

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2008
This is fabulous! I used a regular onion, marinara sauce instead of alredo, and I added fresh mushrooms with the onion and daughter said I must make lasagna this way every time. It's a great no meat meal that I will make over and over!

Peach Cobbler Dump Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 4, 2008
The best way I have found so far to mix the cake mix and butter is to let the butter sit to room temp and mix it in with the cake mix that way and crumble on top. The butter is even and perfect. I make this with peaches cherry/pineapple, blackberry, strawberry, anything!

Gravy Baked Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2007
I didn't use mushroom soup because I don't like the gray color but this recipe is 5 star the way I made it. I used a can of cream of chicken soup, a can of cream of celery soup, about 3/4 cup milk. Other than these changes, I followed the recipe as it was. I served with rice, green peas, and biscuits. Great!!!

Ginny's Cheezy Macaroni

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2007
Maybe those that say the recipe is too watery used cooked macaroni. The recipe should definitely say "uncooked". I will make this again although I made a few changes to suit my taste. I used 3 cups of milk, 1 small can evaporated milk, and 8 oz sour cream. I mixed the cheeses 1/2 colby-jack and 1/2 cheddar. I threw some shredded velveeta in for good measure. My oven cooks too hot and an hour was way too long but I know to watch the things I bake at the end of the cook time and take out when done. Also, I put a couple of pinches of cayenne pepper. Very good taste!
