I used three bananas. Instead of sour cream I used greek yogurt. This was so easy and so delicious.

Monkey Bread V

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
I give it 5 stars after I made the following changes. I added 1/4 stick more butter for melting. I cut back on the white sugar that was to be melted with the butter and used the enormous amount of cinnamon sugar I had left and dumped that into the melted butter. The 1/4 stick more butter was melted and poured on top of all to soak each and every piece of biscuit.

Luscious Lemon Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
What can I say. I've made this twice and each time it turned out PERFECT. I have stopped searching for the perfect cheesecake recipe. This one is it folks! My friend who is opening an ice cream shop even asked me to make this cheesecake along with my other favs to sell in her shop. That's how good it is. Fantastic with a cup of coffee or tea.

Delicious. I'm not a fan of pasta salads however, this one converted me. It's fabulous with a roasted chicken or as a meal itself.

Amish Friendship Chocolate Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
Oh my goodness! This is awesome. Made the following additions: 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips, 1 Tablespoon cocoa powder and 3/4 Tablespoon instant espresso powder. Absolutely the best!!! Going to bake several loaves and put them in the freezer as I know regular Amish Friendship Bread is delicious after it is frozen. Happy Baking Everyone!!

Neiman Marcus Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2008
I've never been a very good cookie baker UNTIL now. This recipe is so easy and so delicious. I could no believe the results. The only change I made was that I did not have chocolate chips...go figure...BUT I had a huge bag of dark chocolate, plain M&M's and these were an absolute hit! Thank you for this recipe. I can't wait to make these cookies for my nieces and nephews.

Pizza Dip

My sister made this for Super Bowl Sunday and it is indeed delicious. She eliminated the onions and olives due to the kids not liking them but it was still awesome. I will add the onions and olives back in when I make it. So quick and easy!

Rum Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2007
YES!! This was so delicious. I served this after a delicious dinner and it was such a hit. I can't believe how easy it was to make. I did make one change. I didn't have instant vanilla pudding however, I did use a box of instant butterscotch pudding. Butterscotch and Rum go VERY well together. I also DOUBLED the glaze recipe. Also, prior to inverting onto a plate. I drizzled about a 1/2 cup of the glaze onto the plate so when I inverted the cake, I knew the bottom would get moist with the liquid gold. Result was a very moist cake all around. This is a keeper.

BLT Wedge with Roquefort

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2007
So simple and so DELICIOUS!! We made this last night and everyone loved it!! The dressing was perfect! I will not have to buy blue cheese dressing from the store again! This is so much better. I put some of the blue cheese directly into the blender and gave it a quick whirl and then stirred some additional blue cheese into the dressing to make it chunky. Make the dressing a couple hours before serving as the flavors blend and taste so much better. Sprinkling blue cheese on top of the prepared wedge makes for a beautiful display and additional flavor.

Perfect Baked Potato

The name of this recipe says it all. I will always make my bake potatoes this way. We used about 6 very large baking potatoes and the baking time did increase some. The slightly crisp, salty potato skin was delicious!

Easy Bacon and Cheese Quiche

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2007
Instead of bacon bits, I fried 8 strips of bacon and chopped them up. Used Cheddar Cheese in place of the other cheeses listed in the recipe because Cheddar is the only cheese I had on hand. Everyone LOVED this recipe and even with frying the bacon, it was incredibly easy with outstanding results. With the changes I made, I had to rate this a five. Will make this again and again!!

Hummus III

Reviewed: May 26, 2007
I LOVE THIS RECIPE!! This recipe is so easy and flavorful. This hummus will definitely grace my appetizer table every time and I am going to keep some in the fridge for a healthy delicious snack. I did add a bit of the garbanzo bean juice and about a teaspoon of olive oil to the food processor and I obtained such a nice smooth consistancy. Absolutely wonderful!

Spiced Banana Cake

Reviewed: May 14, 2007
Delicious and flavorful with great texture with the oats. I thought the allspice would be overpower and it was just perfect. I actually had a tough time removing the cakes from their pans(cakes stuck to the pans in the middle) so I ended up with huge chunks of cake that could not be reassembled and frosted..I'm not that skilled. HOWEVER, after my husband and I tasted the cake we knew it had to be saved. We used a little creativity and decided to turn this ino a trifle. So, for dessert that night we brought out individual bowls and I put chunks of the cake in bowls, heated up store bought buttercream frosting in the microwave to drizzing consistancy and drizzled over the cake crumbles/chunks in the bowl. Everyone at dinner, unsuspecting company included, LOVED the flavors and they didn't even know it was supposed to be an assembled and iced 2 layer cake. The cake is so delicious, I will be making this again. I will definitely attempt the allspice cream cheese frosting also!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: May 11, 2007
This is so delicious! I will be making this a lot. I added about 2 to 3 cloves of crushed garlic and I didn't have a taco seasoning mix so the next best thing to use is a chili seasoning mix. I also threw in a dried cayenne pepper from my garden. Excellent, loaded with wonderful flavor and delicious with corn muffins! Oh, and extremely easy!!!
