Easiest Brownies Ever

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2014
This recipe is so easy. I had my 10 year old son make them because he was wanting brownies. They came out fudgy and dense the way betty Crocker does. Definitely a keeper!!

Roasted Swiss Chard with Feta

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
I tried it and still not a big fan of swiss chard. It was better than any of the other recipes I tried but just don't like the chard.

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2012
These were really good rolls. I upped the sugar to 1/2 cup instead of 1/4 cup in the bread. I kept everything else the same. Simple recipe with really good results. Thank you for sharing!

Blueberry Quick Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2012
This bread is moist and the fruit is suspended throughout the loaf. Wonderful recipe! I added 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg in the dough and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon and sugar over the top before putting in the oven. And I coated the fruit with an extra 1/2 cup of flour. I used a blueberry/strawberry combination. No nuts. I put into a 9x13 inch cake pan and it took 1 hr. and 10 minutes.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2012
If I could give it five more stars I would be happy! ;) I followed the recipe but upped the amount of seasoning in the stew. I used the recipe for the seasoning not the taco seasoning. It came out wonderful! I was looking for a recipe that sounded good and with stuff I had in the house already. This recipe covers it and it is so good. Those that say it's bland didn't taste it before they put in the raw chicken like I did. It was delicious! Thank you for the recipe it is a keeper!

Peasant Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2011
The bread turned out wonderful!! Everyone loved it. The bread has a tight crumb that makes relly good for sliced sandwich bread but my daughter says that it would be good for breakfast with cream cheese and coffee. This one is a life keeper thanks for the the recipe!!!!! :0)

Asian Orange Chicken

Reviewed: May 12, 2010
This is sooooooo good! The Flavor is outstanding. I didn't use the cornstarch because when I added the chicken to the sauce it thickened on its own from the flour on the chicken. I also upped the recipe for 8 people and I added celery, water chestnuts and carrots. Didn't have green onion so I used a medium size onion and I diced it. It is a keeper.

Rich and Simple French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2009
This recipe is very tasty!!! I deleted the butter and the sherry totally and added about 1 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic and I did carmelize the onions. I didn't have beef broth so I put 42 ounces of water to 5 beef bouillion cubes in a pot and boiled it so the bouillion would combine with the water. Then I added the camelized onions to the broth and brought back to a boil and served. Very Good will use often Thanks for the recipe!
