Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
Love these! I make them a little different. I place a slice of provolone between 2 slices of sliced italian bread. Mix garlic powder and shredded parmesan into butter and spread each side of sandwich. Then grill on griddle. Great for dipping in marinara as an appetizer or as garlic bread with spaghetti or lasagne! Thanks for sharing!

Homemade Lasagna

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
This is a great lasagne. Different from my usual, but really good. I've been using cottage cheese instead of ricotta for many, many years, and it's great. Also, my recipe with the cottage cheese does not have eggs in it.

Fruit Dip II

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
I've made this dip for years - served it at showers, wedding receptions, church gatherings and at-home get togethers. It's always a big hit and everyone wants the recipe. That's what is so great - just 2 ingredients and so delicious! No need to add anything!

Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert Bars

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2007
This is delicious! Variation: Cut ice cream sandwiches in half. Dividing everything into thirds, place one-third of the cut sandwiches into a triffle bowl. Spread one-third of the whipped topping over that. Squirt on one-third of a bottle of chocolate shell topping, then sprinkle with one-third of a bag of brickle bits (toffee). Repeat layers twice more. Place in freezer. Set out about 10 minutes before serving. Not cutting necessary. Just use a large serving spoon to dip out servings! It's oh so good!

Easy Sausage Pinwheels

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2007
To give these a bit more flavor, add a little garlic powder and some dried parsley to the biscuit dough while mixing. I also sprinkled on a little grated cheddar cheese over top the sausage before rolling. These are yummy!

Strawberry Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2007
I made this, but used refrigerated cookie dough to make the crust, rolling out per the instructions in the recipe and baking and cooling. Made the cream cheese filling as stated in recipe and sliced berries as in recipe, but just heated some strawberry jam to glaze with. It received rave reviews and everyone wanted the recipe!

Cream-Filled Strawberries

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2007
Tasted wonderful. Make sure stawberries are large and firm, otherwise they tend to squish up when you try to fill them. Made them for a recent party and everyone loved them and wanted the recipe. Will make again.

Chocolate Angel Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2007
This pie is really great and easy to make. I made it for a contest at work and won first prize! I had never done a meringue crust before, but it was easy and very different -- a great compliment to the very rich and chocolately filling! I will definitely make this one again!
