Sushi. The rice had too much vinegar and sugar, and it was FAR too damp when I tried to work with it. Ew Ew Ew.

Richard and Suzanne's Louisiana Crawfish Pasta
I followed the recipie very closely, but used chilli paste instead of red pepper flakes. (I didn't have red pepper flakes on hand...) The flavor wasn't what I expected. It tasted too onion-y It seemed to be missing something. Next time I'll do what others suggested and add some Tony's (creole seasoning) to the sauce. My Aunt also suggested adding a little bit of liquid Crab Boil instead of the red pepper flakes. We'll see!

Pesto Tuna Salad with Sun-Dried Tomatoes
WOW! This is just freaking awesome. My husband was sick and wanted to avoid dairy products and such. I had all the ingredients already (and that pesky pesto needed to get USED!) He passed by and tasted the tuna salad as I was making it, and was TOTALLY taken aback by how awesome it tasted. I was too. I had almost exactly 1/4 cup of pesto left, and I actually used 12oz of tuna, therefore doubled the sundried tomatoes. It tasted fine, despite the lack of extra pesto. I will DEFINITELY make this again.

Baked Ziti with Sausage
When I got married and moved out the house, I actually used THIS recipe instead of my mom's. Now I LOVE my mom's baked ziti...but...this beats hers. (Sorry mom.) This is now my husband's favorite thing I make. Amazing recipe.
