Home Style Macaroni and Cheese

I agree with many other reviewers that this was on the bland side. When I reheated it I added some extra sharp cheddar and smoked gouda that helped alot....

This recipe was good, not great. I think the use of the taco seasoning mix along with the salsa was too spicy. I made one for my son w/o the taco seasoning mix and liked that much better. Will make again, but w/o the taco seasoning mix.

Cocktail Meatballs

these meatballs were ok. I think they were too sweet. My guests said they were good but not many disapeared from the table. My italian friends thought the sauce was tomato and was expecting italian style meatballs which didn't go over very well. Sorry despite all the rave reviews these were just ok

Baked Potato Salad I

Recipe was very good. I made it for a crowd to accompany steaks. I was planning to grill dinner so it was alot easier than preparing baked potatoes for everyone. I followed the advice of others and used the sourcream/mayo combo and I used cheddar cheese and I used fresh scallions. I prepared the recipe early in the day and cooked the potatoes till they were 90% done. Then I placed everything in a disposable foil tray, so when it was time to grill, I just placed the pan on the grill for about 35 minutes. It was easy and delicious.

Elegant Orzo with Wilted Spinach and Pine Nuts

This recipe was easy to make and had a very different, fresh taste. I liked it alot. I especially liked it b/c I have a family member who is allergic to all mayonaise based products, as well as salad dressings, so it was a nice side dish to offer with a brunch I made. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the recipe.

Cookie in a Jar

This recipe is just ok. Based on the reviews, I was planning on making the jars for Christmas presents. I would highly suggest making them first. They are missing flavor. I think they would be better if you added some vanilla and salt to the recipe.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This recipe is fantastic! Very easy and effortless. I seared the outside of the roast in a pan first, then added it to the crock pot. I also added some reduced sodium beef bouillon to the mixture for added flavor. For a 3.5 lb roast I let it cook on low for 6 hours and it was so tender. I added baby carrots the last 45 min and my son loved them. The only critism is that the gravy was thin for my liking. All I did was added a little thickener of flour and water, and it came out perfect.
