Delicious! I followed the recipe to a T and the cookies turned out great, with a nice hint of pumpkin that wasn't over powering. Thanks for sharing!

Frosted Cranberries

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
These cranberries are awesome! Who knew you could eat cranberries raw, without cooking them? The sweet and tart is an excellent combination. I also substituted corn syrup for the pasteurized egg whites. The sugar stuck to the cranberries just fine! Thanks for the great recipe!

Red Broccoli Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
What an AWESOME Salad. I made it for Christmas Eve, Christams day, and for the day after Christmas for three different get togethers. The first day I made it exactly as stated except for using roasted soy nuts instead of almonds as my son is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. Excellent! The second day I substituted a head of iceberg lettuce for the celery as I am not a big fan of the taste of celery but I liked the crunch it gave the salad. Also, all I had on hand this day was turkey bacon and it was delicious in the salad. This turned out excellent as well. The third day I doubled the recipe and it came out great. I only used two packages of bacon when I doubled the recipe. And the first two days I used one package each. I don't believe one package is 2lbs of meat, but one package is more than enough in this rich salad! Thank you so much for an awesome recipe Maggie!!!

Chocolate Brittle Surprise

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
I think I made 5 batches of this stuff for Christmas this year. I varied it for each batch. The favorite was to melt a 10oz bag of crushed heath candies and a half a bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Also used white chips and crushed candy cane for one batch and that turned out well also! Thanks for a very easy brittle recipe ShanaLee!

Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
This was a very interesting recipe. I made these mints for Christmas, and I'm just not sure if the measurements are correct as listed. Does cream cheese come in packages of 8oz? I had to guestimate how much 3 oz was and with 3 cups of confectioner's sugar I had to give it a little more cream cheese. I will try again though and I appreciate having a simple mint recipe. It's always fun to try and make your own instead of buying them! Thank you!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2009
What a great recipe. And so easy to make. I'm from Minnesota, and my family doesn't like alot of spice, so we used Famous Dave's Sweet and Zesty bbq sauce instead of what was recommended. Oh my, it was excellent! I served it Christmas Eve for an easy meal and it was a hit! Hardly any leftovers. Thank you!

This recipe is awesome!!!! And it was so easy to make. It was a hit at Thanksgiving. Now I am making it for the potluck at my work and over the holidays for family. I used mini pastry shells that you can buy at the grocery store, otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Thank you so much for such a delicious recipe!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
Absolutely incredible stuffing recipe. It was alot of fun to make as well! I accidentally used the skinless turkey sausage, so it cooked like ground turkey. This worked out great for the stuffing. Huge hit for Thanksgiving. I will be saving this recipe. Thank you!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: May 14, 2007
I made this recipe exactly as stated. I also warmed the remainder of the marinade in the microwave so that it could be used as dipping sauce for the chicken. EXCELLENT recipe!
