Megan's Granola
Yum. Yum. Look no further for a fantastic granola recipe! I replaced the vegetable oil with healthier coconut oil (which you cannot even taste in the finished product) and had to bake mine for almost an hour to achieve that golden brown color that is typical of granola. On the advice of several other reviewers, I also eliminated the brown sugar and the granola was plenty sweet. **Update 4/03/14**Made this again with the brown sugar and I like it much better. The granola was crunchier, had more flavor and had more of those granola chunks you expect to find in granola. Will add the brown sugar from now on just as the recipe states.

Grandma VanDoren's White Bread
I used this dough to make cinnamon rolls, cutting the recipe in half to get 18 small-ish buns. I used regular old AP flour and subbed melted butter for the veg oil as I never use veg oil in anything. The dough was a dream to work with, rose quickly and tasted fabulous. I started making the rolls at 7:30 and they were ready to bake by 9:30. I can't wait to make loaves of bread with this.

Maple-Balsamic Vinaigrette
I have a good friend who is an amazing southern cook, Sherry, and her salad dressings are the best. I am always trying to recreate them with no success. This recipe is THE BEST salad dressing I have ever made and comes very close to one of Sherry's that I love. Made the recipe exactly as written except cut in half as there's just two of us. Like another reviewer, I used real maple syrup and good quality balsamic, which obviously makes a big difference in a recipe with only 5 or so ingredients. Will make again and again!
