Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
So good! Per other reviewers, I used less olive oil (2 tablespoons), a ton more garlic, and more cayenne pepper. Super tasty. Served this with grilled pineapple. This is a keeper!!

I've made this twice, and loved it both times. I serve it with ranch dressing as well as pizza sauce.

The Best Taco Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Very good - even with fat free refried beans. By far my favorite taco or layered dip. I don't put the sour cream on until after the dip comes out of the oven to avoid curding. Def recommend trying this.

Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
As far as good, easy recipes go, it's hard to top this one - after a few changes. I find the sauce way too sweet as is. I add extra Worcestershire and lemon juice. I also add a few spoonfuls of minced garlic. This recipe makes plenty of sauce for 2 pounds of kielbasa.

Minestrone Stew

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Super good, super easy. My (picky) boyfriend even liked this meal. Love being able to throw a bunch of stuff in the crock pot and walk away. Better than most beef/veggie soups.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

So good. Followed the recipe exactly. Would be interested in trying 1/2 soup and 1/2 diced tomato. Perfect spice.

Fettuccini Tomato Rustica II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
This was amazing. As a "starving law student" with finals coming up, I was limited with the materials I had to work with. Remarkably, I had everything this recipe called for - except fettuccine, I used angel hair instead. As many have mentioned, I used far less olive oil - 1/4 c and it was more than enough. I also seasoned the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper before cooking it. This was AMAZING! I will definitely be making it for my boyfriend. So yum!
